Well it was a long old day to Blackburn and back which I thoroughly enjoyed apart from the usual. The match.
It was basically QPR from Warburtons meltdown end of season.
Toothless, un inventive, slow, not sharp & boring.
The only positives for me were Ozzy done really well and we showed a bit of bite in tackles at times. Other than that, shit.
I’ll miss a few no doubt but things that spring to mind. Dieng. Absolutely can’t be getting beat like that from there. It’s not like it was a snap shot. The guy took it down, controlled it, set himself, looked up and shot ffs. Diengs positioning was terrible. Down to him that one.
Chair. Ineffective & greedy. The amount of times he had chances to pass and yet holds on to it for longer than necessary then loses it was infuriating.
Shodipo made some great runs but his final ball is terrible. Needs to learn quick.
Johansen poor again. Field got stuck in but passing was poor. Same for Dozzell.
Dykes fucking useless. Yet again.
I’d rather Dunne & Dickie at the back personally, although Salter what’s his name done ok.
Albert & Richards both poor when they came on.
I’d start with Bonne up front. Fuck that Aussie fraud off. Offers nothing.
All in all a typical QPR performance. Boring.

How can the players justify a performance like that then Rab They need there arses kicked first game of the season Under a new manager its not good enough for the fans that travel Drop people who dont give a shit For players that do Dykes and Johansson are just not performing Could we play 3 up front to at least get shots at goal Willock. Bonne Taylor. Would this work

We need to get rid of the bad apples asap
Swap them out of the team for high energy players
We cannot go from top 5-6 to bottom half this year
This is not progress
I hope Beale gets the players he needs to get this right

Can’t Dickie or Salter pass the ball into MF. Dickie was carrying the ball out from defence, like he did early part of last season. We are more in need of someone that plays in the opposition half like Richards. It was mentioned a few times yesterday, Richards did exactly that in the short time he had. Once he's fully fit he's a certain starter. As will be Willock and probably either Tyler or Armstrong.

I watched game I never thought it was a bad performance. Was not a edge of your seat effort granted like start of last season but aside from Dykes and Dozzell thought everyone put shift in.
Blackburn never looked particularly better then us and they got break for goal when we were slow closing. Could easily have ended goalless
Defo need improve and be smarter with squad but we do have options returning which makes us better. Personally don’t think 4 at back suits us (I know loads on here want it)
Out of interest what was plan B yesterday 😋
Tough game up next in Middlesbrough

Sounds much better
Drop Dykes and Dozzell
No show No starting place
Need Amos back in midfield
Chair needs to up his anti too
Think we will beat Boro for some mad reason
Dykes does not deserve to play anymore

Its not just getting key players fit though. It's down to belief and confidence.
I noticed Mick mentioned the fact that it was an away game. Fuck that. We weren't at the Bernabeu. You have to absolutely believe, first rule.
Too often in recent years we've looked a little bit tame and that has to stop now.

Had a day to stew on it now. The defence wasn't the problem yesterday, apart from the one incident where we didn't close Travis down and he smashed in the goal we dealt with everything pretty well to be honest. Not too fussed with the loss now, as people have said we have 45 games to go, plenty of time to put things right and hopefully give the manager a real look at our complete lack of threat up front. THAT is where the problem lies. We have zero creativity and haven't got a good enough striker. Players to come back and new guys to bed in though, so let's see. We never win at Ewood Park anyway.

Agree, trouble is Ginge that is the problem we’ve had for ages yet we have a class striker who is supposed to dictate the playing ethos of the club but has shown no sign of pulling rank. As Westy says, if we haven’t got a decent big lump play another way. Early days, so let’s see if Beale will.

The striker is the clubs problem and Beale has not a hope in hell of doing a good job with us. I would ship Dickie and Chair out now and get two strikers in with the money. Would also take Grabban for a year as at least he scores. The manager could be anyone but the problem will remain the same until the board address it

Can only ship people out if people A) want them and B) want them at a price we want do business
I don’t think either is in demand at the price we would deal as I’m sure every club Looking will be picking up in all the issues we talk about for theses players ie chair is greedy and one footed
They are not shit but they have flaws we got find way of getting most out of them

Chair is sellable due to the hype that haa been created by the media this paat 18 months. You can make it known you are willing to trade and if Marcus Tavernier is being sold for 10 million plus then Chair can be punted on for sure. We need to generate funds and quickly to get strikers in the door to help the manager out.

Second point I don't agree with. That's a run of the mill QPR attitude. We must start winning at these places. It's not like they were that good, we just offered zero in way of a threat.

To me though this is one of those games where it doesn't really matter when in the season it happens, I never expect a win, much like Forest away. Bit of a bogey ground. Glad it's out of the way.

I can't get as annoyed as some on here when :- a. It was a new managers first game in charge b. We were without our best player plus probably three others who will be ahead of that starting line up and c Transfer window still open and Beale clearly knows where the issues are. I really hope the fan base are not going to jump on us so early in his tenure as that is not usually the QPR way.

Was encouraging to hear him ‘excuse’ Armstrong’s miss and say he has a lot going for him. Sounds like he’ll give him a chance. It’s what we’ve asked for so we should too.

Not trying to be confrontational but I didn’t see anybody here getting annoyed with Saturdays result or performance.?
Looking at other QPR forums it’s clear that was indeed the case.

I’ve learnt from other forums about posting things that don’t tally with the privileged few, for that reason I don’t use them often.
That’s why I joined this one.
