Cool, again know nothing about him, but itbadds much needed depth, and he's a player we can develop.

Good luck to the lad and if does half as well as our last Charlie then he will prove to be a fantastic addition.

Looks a cocky sod. Which is quite often what you want in a striker.

Brentford signed a raw Ollie Watkins from Exeter and he has done well since stepping up. Not saying he will do the same but a few clubs fancied him so reckon we may have done well with this lad.

looks pretty exceptional for an 18 year old battling it out in league 1. great signing imo That's impressive, especially the halfway line shot. Let's hope WE develop him and get the pleasure of seeing him progress not loan him out to sit on the bench somewhere until he gets injured. Good enough is old enough.

Should have scored at least 3 more in that clip.

Well in the article it says he's starting in the U23s but they're looking to have him pushing Dykes and Bonne for a start in the first team in the near future. Who knows.

Probably a good signing now when Ramkilde seems to have left the club.

If we're serious about another striker - and we should be, because Dykes Bonne and Kelman are non runners - I'd sooner look at the free agents list than trust this lot to unearth a golden boy. Kelman, the 18 or so year old, is being written off already?

I think most fans (myself included) can't fathom why he's anywhere near the first team at this stage of his development. Needs to go out on loan and play regular games elsewhere for a season.

Didn't he already do that at Southend and impressed. He's clearly still a work in progress. We were better off with Smyth who at least impressed whenever he came on.

I don't disagree on the rest. Whilst I'm not even convinced Smyth will ultimately do much at Championship level, the sad truth is he's excited me more in a QPR shirt than any of our current strikers bar Austin.

No idea mate without looking it up. I remember someone posting his showreel:

I am not saying he's any good (or not) but if Dykes and Bonne aren't doing it, and he's here not out on loan, why is Kelman on the bench week after week without getting a chance to see if he can cut it? Surely he's worth a start alongside the master to see what we've got there? Could be the answer, could be another dud - how will we know?

Play Kelman off of Chaz. If he has talent, he'll learn. Dykes is done.

I agree with that. It was Hal saying 'non runner' which I took as no good. Agreed he should have gone out on loan. I think he was kept at the time as it was just Bonne and Dykes who were near the first team, and Kelman had already had first team experience. He would have been better of staying at Southend for the season.

Dykes looks shot and Bonne looks shit so yes why not go with Kelman alongside Austin.
