Blown off the ball far too easily whenever I’ve seen him but glad he is finally showing some promise.
Will he be a free agent at the end of the season?
If so isn’t that another million quid down the toilet to ad to the 2m for Dykes and something not all that far short of that for Bonne?

Agree but at 20 he should be here working alongside the grown-ups, pushing for a place. Especially if they are prepared to let Bonne go if someone comes in. |

Especially if they are prepared to let Bonne go if someone comes in. week in week out football is more important to his development imo. he'd get 10 minutes off the bench here and there at best with us and would be playing uncompetitive youth football most of the time. in league 2 he'll be playing infront of a crowd in a competitive league for a team pushing for promotion. i think he needs to bulk up a bit, find some confidence infront of goal and go from there. still think there's a player in there and he shouldn't be written off until he's 22/23 imo. |

Bring him back in January if he knocks a few in. Got to be worth a punt as a sub as alternatives are needed as our two paid for sttikers for different reasons are bloody awful.

Suppose question club need to ask is at what age/period do they say not going make it and cut cord so money can go elsewhere or he will

Had a quick look at their forum yesterday and saw a couple of comments saying he’s the best at that level. Big compliment for a young lad. Hope he rips it up and comes back here with fire in his belly. Was a big jump from Southend to championship football with only a handful of games under his belt. A full season with plenty of goals and we might have a player on our hands. Think what it did for chair and eze

waste of money by the club. that being said Bonne was never given a proper chance at the club from day one despite the fact that dykes is useless. can't blame bonne as it didn't work out for him but the club has really fucked up. Kelman be next |
