Been to Camden so many times and never actually been in there! Used to frequent the World's End and then Underworld afterwards, I might remember half of those nights 🤣 Oh yeah, forgot about Underworld. So many good spots in that area. Also the nearby Laurel Tree for the Blow Up mod nights. Even the Ice Wharf is a good starting point for the evening

This one turning into a bit of clubbing thread.....
Bagleys was top notch.... had about 6 or 7 rooms if memory serves me right. Remember after midnight, all beer was stopped being sold and the only alcohol you could buy was Champaign, which was £60 a pop.
other cracking venues were koo club which was a basement, one room sweat box. laceys was also good and colosseum.
Would probably add limelight too.
great days but lost memories.

Who is the female commentator with some US, English mix of an accent. She’s only one I can’t stand to listen too and she seems to get the big games

If we're talking Camden & Kings Cross you can't leave out the Electric Ballroom chaps. Many a good night there too. And if you went to Angel then there was Slimelight

london is mega expensive for clubbing now. camden is a great night out though especially worlds end pub, i go there a few times a year to catch up with london based friends.
about 10 years ago i went to a club in piccadilly that charged me £36 for 2 double disorano's and coke lol

doesn't surprise me one bit tbh. london clubbing has always been pricier than other areas but it wasn't bank breaking. i think the most i ever spent on a night out in london was around £200 and thats because it was just one of those crazy nights lol. same night would easily cost me twice that now. its not just london thats ridiculous either though as i went to windsor for my 30th. personally didn't spend a penny but a double was costing between 9 and 12 quid depending on the club

Going out is an expensive game now lol was out with the missus & another couple recently for a few drinks in Richmond & 2 pints of Asahi, a vodka + soda & a large glass of pinot blush was £48... they didn't even have the courtesy to wear a balaclava when they took payment.

Cracking system in that main room. Yea Bagleys had 5 rooms. We used to get around 4,500 in there on our nights.

He does. 😂 In fairness though, I can concur with much of what he says on this. Me too regarding divvy pundits. The F1 clip demonstrated it perfectly!😂 It's an hour and a half interview, but if you're prepared to watch/listen the whole way through it is indeed interesting. And having done so, he definitely does not come across as a misogynist or sexist to me. In that regard he has been largely mischaracterised. Regarding his views on female commentators, if you take the time to listen to his full argument here I think anyone would struggle to find rational weaknesses in it. But in order to see that you have to be able to separate his character / personality / history from his actual argument, which for many people is extremely difficult, or even impossible. You also need to be interested in long-format discussion like this, as opposed to X with all it's instant toxicity and shitfestery. And for the record, I loathed and despised him for his violent past. He will probably always have that aggressive streak and tendency in him because of his violent upbringing (broken home etc). However if you're going to take the time to listen to this interview, it's clear he's done a huge amount of work on himself to face those demons and rehabilitate by working with ex-alcoholic Peter Kay of Sporting Chance, Steve Black (RIP) the sports psychologist, and reading a ton of books, despite it always likely to be a work in progress.

Agree with above Stan.
Like most people I don't care if the pundit is black, white, green, male, female etc as long as they know what the fuck they're talking about!
In simple terms, I see it like this as an example.
Michael Owen. One of the best strikers of his generation. Can't stand him as a pundit. Awful.
Reshman Choudry the woman on Talk Sport I think is brilliant, insightful and knowledgeable.
Danny Murphy bores the tits off of me. Gabby Logan asks brilliant questions, doesn't over egg things and again has the knowledge and charisma to keep me watching.
It's when I see these stupid birds who either talk out their arse, have no clue what they're talking about or are clearly only there for a box tick is when I say not for me.
Personal opinion when I hear them talking.
Laura Woods very good Karen Carney fucking useless Resham Choudry brilliant Farah Williams useless & sounds like she was brought up in a ghetto Izzy Christiansen shite The fat mixed race short haired blonde thing. No words. The hijab wearing presenter on Sky Sports. Actually laughable how poor she is with her facts and delivery. Gabby Logan brilliant. Alex Scott hypocrite Sue Smith knowledge and well broken down points. Eni Aluko the absolute worst of the lot. Not only does she spout absolute bollox but she jusy plays the victim the whole time.
For balance.
Michael Owen useless Danny Murphy boring. Paul Merson spaced out Alan Shearer not bad Sam Matterface a pompous know all cunt Owen Hargreaves meh Andy Townsend chats shit Rio Ferdinand annoying cunt Jamie Carragher shrieking scouse prick
Personal opinion.

To add more context, I can't stand the new strategy from Sky sports to flood us with Youtube clowns who now all appear to be football experts.
I used to have Sky sports on in my house in the background 24/7 - I look now once, maybe twice a day for news then turn off.

Is Farah Williams the one with the lisp? Cannot fucking stand her. Agree with all the blokes you've put on that list Jimmy, I would like to add two though that I hate above all others.. Jason Cundy - cunt And I know he's not around any more but that WBA supporting wanker who used to present England games. Can't even remember his name. He was the worst of the lot.
