He was in digs whilst he was converting 10 bedsits or so into his hse in kew , he thought his gaff was worth so much and had to be told it's worth what's someone is prepared to pay for it . He's done ok villa in Portugal , race horses fair play to his agent because I never saw him ever run the midfield at LR . Can't stand sparky myself but u can't have Barton at the club talking to him like that in front of young players . Speaking to rednapp u would have thought Joey " inesta" Barton won us promotion on his own . Still can't work out why he didn't chin tevez or ageruo |

If we ever get promoted again I just hope we don't go down the same road again . I've never seen Barton impact any game where I've said he was great today . Good at being a pest , tackling, jockeying etc ( I know u need a couple of these in the team) but he has no pace , can't dribble , doesn't score often .. it's all that's wrong with football if a work horse can earn that amount ...

There's approximately 12,000 fans every game who would run around and give their all for the club but you wouldn't want them anywhere near the team. Dimitar Berbatov is probably the best example I can think of for a player who was a passenger in a side but you wouldn't leave him out as you knew that if the chance came he would take it. How long have we had to put up with "lazy" Eze and there are still those who think he doesn't put the effort in. His OPTA stats say different. |

Plus a gentleman most seem to say. We were stupid enough to pay him £100K a week when he wasn't suited to English football. He lived in Knightsbridge and went to Harlington by helicopter. Yes, CW did run around to little purpose but Joey could play a bit as well. He did more in that promotion season than CW did in his entire QPR career.
For all the bad boy shite that's gone down a, it's worth remembering that he was the only pro footballer who stood up to be counted on the Stonewall issue. Everyone else at that point was in the dark ages.
