All about opinions, I blame the manager for most of what happened to the team during that period. Players joining us just for the money and then encountering an absolute shambles of a club. Do you ever wonder why so many top class footballers looked like shite once they arrived at QPR? I know it wasn't because they weren't good footballers as so many left and went on to better things in winning teams. M'Bia won two successive European cups at Seville in the two seasons after he left us, Vargas was Golden Boot winner in the Copa Americana just after he left us. I am sure there will be more. Hughes was the biggest cunt during that dark period of our history with Fernandes steering the ship into oblivion. What clib gets a 55k a week keeper in only to replace him after 1 game with a 100k a week keeper both who were no better than the guy they replaced.

M'Bia won two successive European cups at Seville in the two seasons after he left us That one really surprised me. Couldn't stand that fucking grinning idiot when he played for us. Remember he used to come running over to give his jersey to someone at the end of each home game? Once, we'd been stuffed and he'd been shite, he came trotting over to my part of the Ellerslie and, like a madman, I took off my winter coat and violently twirled it over my head screaming, 'Come get this, you f@&king useless c£&t''. Spying me, he quickly retreated. The coat had a red lining. Football does funny things to you. Lol.

Never rated him in a Rangers shirt even though he did well at Sevilla after.

This is only a bit of third hand gossip I heard from someone at the club, that Redknapp would only be at training if there were cameras there and most of the time he would be in his office with Wally Downes doing online gambling. Admin: if this is deemed libellous and would cause issues with the hosting site then please remove as I realise that it is unsubstantiated.

OK, how about I would be happier if he had died rather than my cousin? Why would you wish someone dead who in you opinion was a bad egg? Yet on a thread a while back you were defending peoples human rights like the scum that killed Soldier Rigby For example. I really dont get that at all as the two do not equate in anyway. Ignored

Worse than Cesar? Bosingwa? Luke Young? Andy Johnson? Hoilett? SWP? Park? We never never made a penny on any of the signings from 2011 to 2013 all left for free or at a loss. Says everything you need to know about our chairman at that time. Definitely! Luke Young & Park were terrible signings but they weren't a cancer within like Barton was. If anyone on here saw Bosingwa make his debut up at The Hawthorns then you would have agreed with most up there on that day that we had signed a world class defender, he was a huge victim of the spin put on his locking himself in the dressing room after demanding to see Redknapp as to why he had been dropped and Redknapp told him to fuck off, something he also did to Traore and one other player who I never did get to find out who but suspect it was SW-P. Bosingwa was another of the mercenaries that turned up during that period but at least he was a decent footballer, as demonstrated in his last game for us against Newcastle. I don't remember fans being upset at Cesar or Andy Johnson playing for us until near the end when all the players were being turned on, same with Hoilett, Phillips. Granero etc. SW-P was just a waste of money as he never looked like he could be arsed, an unforgivable trait in a footballer, in the same way Trevor Sinclair did whilst he was trying to force a move to WHU. Even the one slike Chevanton & Chimbonda were better signings as they played very little part in the destruction of QPR. If Barton hadn't been a footballer the only he would have ever been in the public eye would have been in court reports. I really don't get how fans, especially those who have watched since the old third division days and should understand what QPR means as a football club could have nothing but disdain, at a minimum, for Joey Barton and his time at the club. Luke young started off really well when he came here. Don't get what happened that made him go completely off the boil around the middle of 11/12.

Remember Luke Young signing and thought he was going to be great for us and then he did go off the boil completely. Another player who came on much more money than he was getting at Villa.

who, like Joey, did not appoint himself.
You know perfectly well who ultimately has to carry the can: our beloved chairman.
I'm still far from convinced by Fernandes and you are not. That's where we part company.
I also prefer to judge players by what they do on the pitch rather than what they do off it. There are no points for being morally sound. Joey wasn't one of our best players but by christ he was a long way from one of our worst.
He's a troubled bloke and he often gets out of his depth and fucks up. There are worse people in the world, believe me.

Top class is Warbs. Just keeping his head and not getting drawn into a discussion. Barton on the other hand is embarrassing. Badmouthing others in public, only reflects badly on yourself, but Joey is far too stupid to realise it. Don´t get why Clint is mates with that cunt .
totally misused the talents of Vargas & Isla
That's unfair if you look at the stats how Vargas has performed in Europe. Isla was very good after 4-5 first games.

The contrast between what Warbs says, and how he conducts himself, compared to the walnut-brained Barton, says it all.

Hughes never won a match of the season up to the end of November which ultimately relegated us so would definitely point the finger in his direction when it comes to poor handling of players. Redknapp was not great and we knew he was dodgy before he came in so why are we suprised by him in any shape or form.

Barton is 100 percent about passion. When he played for us I thought that would be enough, but it never quite was(obviously). And like we all now know he couldn`t handle pressure when it mattered the most. Warburton, on the other hand, seems to cope well with pressure. And don`t forget that he is very passionate as well.

I am only ever surprised by any support for Redknapp. If you subscribe to conspiracy theories, I believe he couldn't give a flying fuck about QPR and took the job solely for the money as revenge for the home game against Spurs where he was serenaded by long and loud choruses of "What's wrong with your face, what's wrong with your face, Harry Redknapp, what's wrong with your face". You could see he was seething inside whilst it was going on.

He was brought in by the same bloke who paid 2 keepers 155k a week and who gave Barton the 4 year deal at 75k a week. Redknapp and Barton 2 characters who we knew what we were getting when we brought them to the club whose only wrong doings were taking the silly contracts offered to them. That is not supporting either just pointing out the reality of how bad we were being run at the time.

Yep, if we pay SWP 50k a week but his value at the time is around 35k a week then we shouldn't have overpaid. However if SWP then performs to about 5% (2.5k per week) of that then he is incompetent and not doing the job he is paid for.

Esox is reluctant to critique the people who truly bear responsibility for the shambles. Leaving him and his many disastrous appointments to one side for the moment, I note that the Mittal stake has been in the club since 2008.
I have one question for them. Why bother? Twelve years is a long time spent rubber stamping poor decisions.

have not listened to it yet but love Joey. He gave his all, never hid away, rolled up his sleeves and got on with the job. Would happily have him back at the club alongside Clint in the future. Not his fault that some prize prat paid him all that money. how anyone could have a negative opinion of him while playing for us, beggers belief. what about 50phead, salad, boswanker, wrongphilips, samba and samba... Joey done more for our club than all those wankers put together. You'll enjoy it, Hits. But, boy, can Joey talk..... Seizure was, by all accounts, a decent sort and not a mercenary. Plus a gentleman most seem to say. We were stupid enough to pay him £100K a week when he wasn't suited to English football. He lived in Knightsbridge and went to Harlington by helicopter. Couldn't understand why Shaun Derry didn't 😂😂😂. Brilliant shot stopper, but rubbish in the air. Brought him when we had Paddy who was decent AND Green on £50K a week. Madness.... Only just now finished listening to the first hour. I love the guy. comes across as a totally no nonsense, heres the truth, like it or lump it, individual. loved hearing his pisstake on hughes, shouting in the canteen....."morning lesley, unlucky on saturday lesley" Also, the classic, "the only way warnock could be a coach is if you took out his false teeth and shoved some bus seats in his mouth". Also, he declared his loyalty to clint hill, paddy, furlian and the iceman. Surprised he never had much to say on the head clown fernandes. all in all, a great listen.
