Lots of clubs going be hit by the energy cost increases. Wonder if we might see games during winter played earlier in day to avoid use of floodlights etc

Wonder if we might see games during winter played earlier in day to avoid use of floodlights etc i doubt it as there's a weird law that games played at the 3pm mark have certain TV rights restrictions via the FA. if games were moved to an earlier time then there would need to be a whole new TV rights deal which the FA would never agree to.

If clubs go under be more outrageous than pissing of tv companies

As GT says fuck tv as if clubs go under they won’t be showing any football below prem league

As GT says fuck tv as if clubs go under they won’t be showing any football below prem league i read about it ages ago, basically when games are kicked off at 3pm it means that they can't be aired in the UK which is what the FA want as they fear that fans won't attend games if they're on TV. if games started earlier or later then they aren't under the same restrictions and can then be shown on TV (like sky's red button). the FA simply won't ever allow that to happen on saturday as they're worried about fans sitting at home. makes no sense though as in germany all games are shown on TV yet german clubs have the highest average attendances of any league in europe.

Corbs, that can be explained by average German ticket prices being much lower than UK

Corbs, that can be explained by average German ticket prices being much lower than UK true. i said it more as a way to hghlight the FA's argument that attendances would go down if all EFL games were able to be aired on TV. i think attendances would stay as they are personally as people will attend games regardless of it being on TV or not

Energy bills through the roof. The poorest will suffer most. I feel this so called crisis will affect the middle class and even the rich. For some it will be the choice of going to work or saving that expenditure for energy food and other essentials. Crime will rise, the rich will be targeted and whatever society we have will breakdown. I will be really pleased when it reaches the greedy selfish rich as they are the ones putting the squeeze on. So no sympathy for any of them. So ready to be greedy and selfish as they feel they have some God given right to put down the average man in the street or woman etc.
Feel there will be riots etc and someone on here said look after your own. In a way that's true but that's what the upper part of society want Divide and conquer. The only tool the workers have is withdrawal of labour and imo that's where we are heading a general strike like 1926 and to a lesser degree the 3 day week miners strike.
