absolutely brilliant first half, even dykes is playing commendably at 3/10 whilst everyone else has been at least an 8/10!
exceptional first half from the whole team. laird is a revelation at RB, he's great at bombing forward but has had their columbian 19 in his pocket all night too. special praise for dozzell too who looks much more confident in tonights game and is covering every blade of grass.
the only positives i can take for hull is that their number 19 looks dangerous playing off the shoulder of our defenders. yeah, we've had him offside more times than i count but only by inches imo. if he can stay onside then i wouldn't be surprised to see him bag a goal.

I've got to say, I think Mick Beale is getting the best he can out of Dykes. He's turning him round, just like he is the whole team. And as the confidence starts to flow and the team really gels, individual players can raise their game. The difference a proper coach makes is profound.
