I would like to see Salter first earn his place by being introduced as sub or as part of a 3 CB system Think Mick is more likely to do that anyway Sparks. To be clear, I posted my preferred team, not necessarily the one I think Beale will play 😀 |

Dieng
  Laird   Balogun  Clarke-Salter  Paal
 Amos     Iro    Johansen
 Chair     Willock
BonneI wouldn't risk Amos with a start, he's only just back and surely Mick won't either. And why drop Field?Iro can be a change for Amos, either way round. I'd play Roberts to start and bring Dykes on second half. |

BonneI wouldn't risk Amos with a start, he's only just back and surely Mick won't either. And why drop Field? Played in reserve games and fully fit now by all accounts Hubs. Could be on the bench at least. Think those are our strongest 3 personally. As I say, personal choice and not necessarily what Beale will pick. |

Seems very harsh to drop Dunne in preference to Salter considering the last 2 games have been clean sheets. Can anybody honestly rate Salter as a very good centre back without MB previously saying he is ? He wasn’t a stand out player at Coventry last season for me. Although I’ve seen very little of Salter previously my initial impression of him is he looks timid and could get bullied by a big Championship centre forward, superb CB and imo best at club when everyone is fit. Was fantastic at Coventry last season. |

Yeah fair dos Stan, I'd just be extra cautious about Amos and bring him back slowly. Arguably our best midfielder but so liable to injury. And I think Field's a definite starter at the moment, along with Johansen, and I didn't think that would be the case after the first few games. Mick Beale has really turned him around.

Dykes does seem a lot better off the bench.
Beale says Roberts sees himself as a number 9, even though it's not really worked so far. But we'll see. Hopefully it does.
