chair is either a 6 or an 8. very inconsistent but still a good player, i'd say he's good for 2/3 of the games that he plays

Would have loved his Beckham/Nayim effort to have gone in.

Offered absolutely nothing and really has no business being in the team. We need a striker and RB asap and punting him on is the way to fund as others rate him much higher than his true worth.

I like the kid but he’s just not doing enough with his talent in games.
Makes some really poor decisions. Selfish ones.
Always looking for the glory shot or extra 5 yards on a run rather than just make the sensible pass.
Hasn’t impressed me at all first two games. Needs to start doing the basics.

Like Chair, but was really disappointed with his performance Saturday (didn't see Blackburn game). Very greedy at times & decision making really poor, held onto the ball for way too long & turned down the simple pass.
Fingers crossed he ups his game as we all know he has the talent there.

His decision making and over playing is nothing new and of all of our assets he is the one who would do without and if we could get a RB and CF and not sell anyone else then we have to look to pro actively be doing that. Willock or Chair as the main guy in the side?

Willock or Chair as the main guy in the side? It's not an either/or because Beale likes playing with two creative players behind the front man. Richards could replace Chair when fit. Chair has been distinctly average last two games, possibly being distracted by his newly born and first child, but needs to up his game now for sure.

Chair might be off form but one of our most gifted players. If players have the talent you can potentially work on the rest. Thomas? God loves a trier, but what has he ever actually done for us? He has had a lot of minutes now (OK mainly as a sub) and don't think he has ever even scored a goal. Some players just don't work at certain clubs, think he could still do quite well elsewhere, maybe needs to rebuild in League One. Actually think Beale could play with three number 10s - so Willock and Chair essential for me, with Roberts or Richards another possibility when fit. Great we can look forward to some competition tho.

Not about form for me Stains. He's just ineffective 90 odd percent of the time. All the tricks, but very little of it results in anything tangible. Often he actually slows play down and the. gives it away or passes it backwards.

Suffers with Luke Freeman syndrome. Coach that out and he’d be so much better. Clearly comfortable with a ball.

If warts an all Chair doesn’t play then easier for opponents to surround Willock, maybe Shodipo could replace him but you could quote the no end product?

How did the invisible man play tonight? He needs to be punted on and soon as we are now playing every game with 10 men

I can see Beale dropping him if he continues this poor form, especially with Roberts back now.

No point drooping him get rid and get players in who we need this guy we do not need as January last season showed. He seems rated higher outside of the club.

Trouble is he's hardly playing himself into the transfer window 😅 Just all swagger and no substance so far...

To not impose himself tonight shows exactly what he is capable of. Not a great deal unfortunately A bit like his AFCON absence, we were much more positive without him last night. Ball moves quicker, more urgency in the build up. Does beg the question ‘what does he do?’ He doesn’t contribute to defensive play so is it time to play him off the bench while we try something different?

He is a strange one to work out because he can obviously play, but there was a move last night where he brought the ball forward really slowly just looking for a shot and ignoring better options, then blazed a pathetic shot miles over.
