With other big hitters getting new deals will be interesting to see if chair is offered one too. I suspect he will be. It would be a knock out blow for our competitors. I’m bricking it at the thought of him leaving tbf

Dembele and Saito good players but if they could "man the ship" on their own we would have more than one win in 9 league games.

Compare him to when he was Dembele's age would be fairer. Big age difference. Think people forget how young he is. Saito brand new to the league and still adapting, but showing promising signs of doing so, particularly last night. Very unlucky not to score. Not making excuses btw, just being fair and realistic.

Think you misinterpreted what I was trying to say Stan (maybe didn’t express it well). I rate them both Stan and confident both will come good. Even before his excellent display last night have been sticking up for Saito. But was trying to say don’t think they can do it on their own. Chair for all his critics is still our best player and we need him on the pitch with them. 9 games in and neither Saito or Dembele have scored. Am sure they will but we badly need more from our attacking three collectively - and most of all that means no Smyth and Chair in his or Andersens place

Yet they kept Chair on for how long after he was clearly in massive pain?
What has that done to worsen the injury.
We can't do anything right.

We will get Chair fit and sell in January. Fine by me Then we are down. I'd be the first to say he has been very disappointing since coming back from injury this season. But it was his goals and assists and the way he drew opposition players to him that kept us up last season. Without him we would have been completely fucked.

It is certainly not a given that we are down if he is sold because we're going down regardless, if things continue as they are. And the money from his possible sale could even be what saves us if it's used wisely

Tons of ability, no brain(thick as a brick?). Flatters to deceive, never looks up, never one touch. Shit set pieces every fucking time. Just look how well Morocco did after they benched him. 🤷♂️

Depends how much he's learned from the signings that have yet to work. Nardi, Varane, Saito and Morgan weren't bad signings.

Good riddance to one foot. Sick of seeing him do his usual.
Gets the ball, walks it to the edge of the penalty area, cuts inside and shoots over the bar. Seen it for the last 3 years.
