Celar was going to be the goal machine we've been missing the last few years. And then we saw him play.

Selling Chair is unthinkable.
He has his faults but he is the heartbeat of the side.

Celar was going to be the goal machine we've been missing the last few years. And then we saw him play. Without service and with limited time in the first 2 games. I suggest we wait to judge until Marti has his team together.

Celar was going to be the goal machine we've been missing the last few years. And then we saw him play. Celar played 71 minutes against WBA with no service from anyone behind him and played the last 10 minutes at Cambridge and people have written him off already. I give up - lets sell him and Frey before the window closes and play Dykes on his own all season FFS

Back injury could take ten weeks to heal. So five weeks from now?

So I believe mate, hopefully it falls through and we can keep him-can you imagine both of those on the attack for us The news report said he was in the last year of his contract. Big Chair fan but if that is true we don’t have much choice but to cash in sadly as agree the pair playing together is a mouth watering prospect No choice but take the money unless he agrees a new contract and actually wants to stay. I was hopeful his injury might put teams off but we can't have him going for nothing I.e Willock

chair is certainly under contract until 2026. whether that's because he has an option for an extra year or not idk but its definitely until then so we're in the driving seat here.
if leeds are after him then we should be asking for £10m at least given how much money they've raked in.

Surely with the money Leeds have brought in this window they can afford someone better than chair? if true I’m surprised. But if the money is right reluctantly do the deal.

He’s a very talented player, of course. But his tendency to hang on to the ball too much, poor decision making and often atrocious dead ball efforts would indicate to me that whilst he may look a cut above most in last seasons R’s team, he’d be far from a star in many top championship clubs.

chair will work magic in this side with our attacking players around him. i don't want him to go unless it's stupid money.
i'll say it until i'm blue in the face but i fully believe chair will be a different beast in a better side.

Or maybe he'll hold on to the ball for too long when a pass is on, thus killing our momentum and attacking threat?

Or maybe he is a bit better than some of our fans give him credit for? maybe or equally overrated by others. All about opinions. If Chair had started yesterday think we would have won that. Some fans - ludicrously IMHO - were suggesting before the match yesterday that he wouldn’t even get in the side now. But as you saw we had Smyth doing what Smyth does and - surprise, surprise - it turns out that a promising substitute appearance from Saito last week doesn’t suddenly turn him into a more effective starter for us than one with almost 270 games for the club.

If concrete interest in him and it makes sense financially then take the money. He is one of our better players and we are better with him playing in the team but we need to start making money on these players when it is on the table

He’s been our best player for a few years but if his contract only has a year to go then sadly I would agree that he should be sold.

Saw him at tbe training session and while he did not train he was asked about giving his shirt away to which he replied I have to get on the pitch first

I imagine it's one year plus an additional one year option so effectively two.

I reckon he's off. Doubt we'll get the 10m number that's been banded about, but 7 or 8 will get it done and I reckon Leeds will pay that.
