The negativity of some of you lot is incredible! Talk about glass half empty.. thank god we won, or you'd be on suicide watch!

ugly ugly win. i don't think wigan were entirely great tbh, if anything we made it easy for them by being so shit but wigan didn't capitalize on it so thats on them.
amos and dozzel were pretty bad today.

Feeling much less confident after this shit show. Warning signs all over. so the fact we've ripped 3 teams apart in the past 5 games and sit top of the league without willock goes right over your head? we won't win every game, infact odds are we'll get our arses handed to us by a relegation battler at some stage. it is what it is. as long as we're up there in the top 6 at the end of the season thats all that really matters. it wasn't too long ago that we'd be sitting around the 12th-18th mark at this stage of the season and dreaming of finishing comfortably midtable lol.

That’s the first time I’ve seen Mick so angry at times in the dugout.

Robbed the points. But that's what winning teams do, right. I cannot recall seeing a worse 45 mins from a player than we go from Amos today. He was a passenger and looked completely lost.

Great first half, some lovely football. Dismal second half but 3 points. Wigan didn’t know how to win that.

Brilliant first half
Poor second half, but sign of a good team to grind out a result without playing great.

That’s the first time I’ve seen Mick so angry at times in the dugout. And it was good to see. For whatever reason we were poor today in midfield after Stef went off despite best efforts of Field and Chair. Amos sauntering around like he’s at a pensioner’s Pilates class. But a gritty win and three points. Another year that ball wouldn’t have hit the cross bar it would have been a goal. Sometimes you have to win ugly. Man of the match today? The fans. Great atmosphere and did their best to lift the team.

Last November or December, when we won ugly at home, I wasn't pleased either. Feeling the same again. We must improve if we want to get promoted. If you are satisfied with that performance, well, certainly hope Beale and the players aren't.

Hopefully Amos and Dozzell will be told in no uncertain terms their performances were not acceptable. But you can’t play Champagne football every week. It was a grubby win and let’s be happy to take it.

We have played 6 games in 21 days and won 5 of them by blitzing teams with high energy tactics, understandable that perhaps some players today looked off the pace in the second half.

Timmy, I think Sparks is right - it's more to do with the games coming so thick and fast, it's bound to cause some fatigue?

Incredible levels of negativity.
Fact is we won ugly today and we're top. I'm having that.
Don't anyone tell me they wouldn't have settled for that the day MB was appointed. Dont forget how awful we were during the early part of this year.

I remember from my playing ''career'' when we were 11 points ahead of the second placed team. Was thinking day and night how we could still lose that advantage.

I’m happy because we won but the worst performers today were Amos and Dozzell and they haven’t played every game from memory. Tim I think fair enough

Tim I think fair enough I was more disappointed in Laird today Stainrod, probably because he’s set such high standards. Don’t really think Amos and Dozzell are game changers without having more of a threat upfront after Armstrong went off
