The Athletic An of Wig (Home) **Match Thread**
Looking ahead to Sat with renewed optimism:
Wigan have lost four of their last five - conceding 12 in the process inc 4 against Boro mid week.
Sheff Utd at home to Norwich so someone has to drop points there
Burnley away to Sunderland
Blackburn are at home to Brum - but Brum have only lost one in their last 8.
Luton (as we learned to our cost) are playing very well but they have a derby on Sun away to Watford so no "gimme".
Usual caveats - QPR normally fuck up when you least expect it etc etc and sure we will go through at least one tough patch. But almost a third of the season gone already so hard to say our current position is entirely fluke.
A nice set of fixtures for the weekend in any case

The Tics are on a nervous run of form and the R's will arguably be more even motivated than last night in light of this morning's Beale boon.
However he'll have "Complacency is Thine Enemy" plastered all over the dressing room wall to guard against any potential banana skin, to safely secure another home win and maintain our pole position in the table.

Could be a banana skin. Will Keane was shit for us but banged them in for Wigan last season and has 6 this season so far. We're on a massive high so it would be easy to take them lightly, but their away form this season I think I read is the best in the division.
