I think only side that would have let the side down is Liverpool as they boo National anthem

I think the fear of football fans ruining the silence or booing the anthem scared them into the decision. Wouldn't look good around the world if that happened. I've heard football will be on next weekend but not in London, so our game gets cancelled again. All the more reason for us to sell out Millwall away! Maybe they should have a bit more faith in the people. There will always be the odd idiot but I suspect most football fans would be extremely respectful.

Teams that come and are prepared to scrap and win the bits and pieces in midfield have turned us over recently.
If Jimmy is fit I would like us to play 3 CBs to enable the full backs to get much higher, he would also provide more of a threat at set pieces.

Agreed. No coincidence Jimmy was ever-present in our winning streak, and hasn't featured in the last three games: two losses, one draw.

That first bit 100% spot on. We dont always look like we want it enough. I hate that more than anything. The three CBs thing was I think always going to be Mick's plan B but I much prefer the false 9ish 4-3-3 (which we've abandoned since Dykes has been back again). Because no one else plays that in this division, and also because you leave out all our non striker strikers. Also because that is when we've looked really good as a football team. Problem with it is that it requires full fitness from our best players on a consistent basis. The reality of our thin squad and in particular the dog's breakfast striker situation has begun to hit home.

I don't think it's 'we don't want it bad enough', just think some of or midfield are easily bullied. Unleash Armstrong, they don't like it up 'em

Unleash Armstrong, they don't like it up 'em armstrong hasn't scored yet but i do think he impacts games more than dykes. he needs to utilize his strength more and conserve energy, heck, there's a lot of learning there but he can't be worse than dykes lol

I don't think it's 'we don't want it bad enough', just think some of or midfield are easily bullied. I hear you, but for me Luton - to take one example - wanted it more. It isn't about size, it's about attitude. There've been some right lairy little nuggets down the years who punch way above their weight. Billy Bremner, Roy Keane, Joey, Cantona - none of them were the size of Armstrong say, but those guys weren't going to be bullied by anyone. I think we need a little bit of that mentality on and off the park. We aren't going to charm our way out of this division. Older Rs will remember Tommy Smith, was never the biggest guy on the park but Shankly said ' he wasn't born, he was quarried '.

There’s a difference in being bullied by an opponent and being outmuscled or outpaced Hal, as said before players like Amos/Dozzell are never going to win many ground tackles and none aerially.
There’s been a few games recently where it’s been more like head tennis in MF.

Not used to having a manager linked with Every premier league job going
He needs to earn his spurs first and win something
Or be the same as Gary Neville

So you're saying they cant win anything in the air, they can't run and they can't tackle? Throw outmuscled into that mix and I'd say they're in the wrong business. Apart from the aerial thing, everything you're talking about has to do with attitude. This is a dog eat dog division, we need to bite back more often. No room for any passengers.

Big game tonight, really need to get back to winning ways. Lets be honest as well, Hudds are cr@p this season - if we play anything like we know we can, we will win this. We really do need to step up on recent performances though.
I do fancy us to get back to our best though, last home game before the break I fancy a 3-1 win. COYRs!
