God we’ve all lumped someone in our lifetime, not right but fact. He been done for some and paid price. Can’t keep beating someone down for it. He not a rapist or kiddy fiddler Not multiple times over decades. Not everyone is a serial thug, who clearly has violence management issues that it appears he's never dealt with.

The only thing that matters in the context of this conversation is that he's not a very good manager. Agreed.

He no doubt had a shitty upbringing which has lead to it all, and I can sympathise with that because I’ve been there. But he could have addressed his inner demons and doubtless has been offered opportunities to with his millions in the bank, but for whatever reasons he hasn’t.

The club has already said they want to continue down the same path - it would be a complete U-turn to bring in an established, relatively big name like Wilder. Think it will be someone with either academy or small club with zero budget experience.

I would disagree, I don't want an utter c**t in charge at QPR, however good he may be. If a manager beat someone up 20 years ago, does that matter? What if he beat up several people, including women, and continues to do so? What if he's been a divisive and poisonous influence in the dressing room, manipulating opinions, back-stabbing and getting a popular and successful manager sacked? Playing Devil's advocate, what if he IS a kiddie-fiddler (and I'm nit suggesting Barton is)? If he's a GREAT manager (and I'm not suggesting Barton is), would it still be OK to employ him? I think you have to draw the line somewhere, and I wouldn't let Barton anywhere near Loftus Road. Hope he's never included in QPR's Hall of Fame.

wouldn't want barton anywhere near our club either. there's a big difference between being a fiery character and being an absolute prick and barton falls firmly into the latter category.
he's a guy who stubbed a cigar out on a youth player, beat up a team mate, tried fighting man city's first team, alledgedly punched his wife, beat up another manager and only got capped once because everyone hated him. and they're only the things we know about.

Encouraging that we're looking abroad also, which in itself makes a change for the better. The last two appointments have been improvements on the previous standard (McClaren, JFH, Olly, Ramsey, Hughes) too; at least ON the field. Anyone know anything about cuent? I see he is Scandinavian, so shania and dk should know about the cuntes See: rfantasyisland.boards.net/post/125872/thread

Agreed, but as it won’t be Pochitino for sure ( he certainly was a gentleman in how he answered the question though) I will settle for Warnock for the rest of the season. Always loved the guy.
