Very emotional aren't you, Bill. Have a cuppa and calm down.

Bill, nothing will change while we have a DOF system - whoever manages/coaches the team if nothing else changes it’s just press repeat button time after time. Small club like ours needs a manager. A manager who brings in his own team and is therefore fully accountable - unlike our DOF. All very well bringing in a Guardiola or a Mourinho etc. to work within an established framework under a DOF because these clubs spend millions on players. If we expect a coach to work within a strict budget he should be the manager.

Maybe I buck the trend, but I do think we need a DoF. Most clubs have one now (or sporting director etc).
Yes, managers should be backed but if we back a manager and he is shit (happens a lot with us) then we need to start again. And with manager changes, that's every 2 transfer windows.
Having a DOF means that we have a philosophy and we buy/sell and hire managers based on that.
Budgets come down to the owners. Les is employed by the club so he works on what he is told. He will (or should) be accountable for his choices, along with the others.

As for philosophy what is ours under Les? Waste money putting crap players on contracts, bring in strikers who aren’t - or don’t get picked - and play well only half a season at a time? Even City changed their ‘philosophy’ when they got wind of Harland. Philosophy was the myth of the Academy of Football at West Ham. Not exactly torn it up on the pitch over the years have they?

Doubt Lyndon will lose his starting place against Reading. And oddly enough Reading is one team Dykes usually scores against too.

I haven't seen any talk of QPR going in the home end like last time, this time around. Shows that the excitement has gone a bit.

Amos out. I think he will be permanently. Can't see us renewing his contract.

I hope the "decision" goes something like this: Critchley: "Stef, Can you actually walk?" Stef: "Just about boss. At least with one leg." Critchley: "Great, you are in my team."

Based on league table two very evenly matched sides but I do think we underperformed all season.
I think if we’re firing we’re head and shoulders ahead of Reading

It seems like Critchley is going to need a Bobby Robson WC type of rethink to formulate our best eleven.

All twelve fingers crossed for getting Matt Smith from Arsenal in on loan asap, because there`s still no sign of Johansen, not even on the bench...
C`mon QPR!!

To be more positive, some real crap in that Reading side: Lummers, Hendrix, Toilet, the old pikey…
Other than Ince not sure many in that team we would want in ours.
No excuse for a good performance from us today and a decent bench

Playing Dunne and Dickie together as a 2 is madness, Iroegbunam predominately as a holding player is a waste of his best attributes, and Dykes ahead of Lowe 🤐🤐(who’s surely match fit being on Bournemouths bench for the last dozen games. If Lowe isn’t match fit how will that happen sitting on the bench)
