He will end up at Glasgow Rangers. Remember, it was Beale who dropped him and only bought him back when injuries kicked in big time. If for some weird reason the powers that be at GR want him anyway, I'm not sure they can afford to gamble with the relatively little cash they have. What I don't understand is how one of the two clubs with a virtual monopoly on Scottish football (both in terms of bums on seats and rights) can have fucked up so badly in the boardroom that they're reduced to looking at players of his quality. I mean we have our problems but what happened up there? They want him and will lose fat Morelos soon as running his contract down. Old bullshitter Beale will go for him for sure. |

I really struggle to see the Dykes/ Glasgow thing. Wd be v happy to be proved wrong. Beale might be a scumbag but he is no idiot and he has seen Lyndon up close and personal.

Been told we've had bids accepted for TWO National League strikers. One is rumoured to only have one leg, but apparently very good all things considered - and well under £1m. Possible fly in the ointment is that we could be in a bidding war against the Albert Steptoe Memorial Donkey Sanctuary, so prices could rise.
Could be a third outfield player, an U11 midfielder from the West Kent Sunday League - won't name the team, but we're waiting for a note from his mum to complete the paperwork.
My informant did let slip that we're after a very experienced goalkeeper. Most of his experience involves picking balls out of the net, eating pies and smoking 60 a day and we're rumoured to be bringing him in just as soon as he can get his weight down to under 18 stone - our recruitment team do have SOME standards after all...
Lastly I can also confirm EllerslieroadQblock's tip that we are bringing in Matt Smith. However, not the Arsenal player, but the former Dr Who actor and Time Lord. It's hoped we can go back a few decades to when QPR last had a really decent team...

Ha, that's funny Tarbs! Yeah, he's in the same game as you mate. Strangely/bravely - take your pick - he moved to Glasgow about 2 years ago. Sad for me and our Rangers crew as it was always more than a laugh to meet up with him before or after a game. If you ever meet him, you'll never forget him, he's absolutely huge!

I'm itching to find out! the itk thing is amusing and infuriating in equal parts. the way a lot of business pans out is that no one actually knows anything until pens are put to paper, you can be trying to do a deal with the best of intentions and then another offer comes in. We can all make guesses but the bottom line is nothing is definite until its happened. |

I think Ellersie was half right in what he posted a few days back though. There is definitely some solid interest in Dykes. I don't believe there has been a bid accepted as yet though.
It's one of those that will almost certainly happen at some stage this window. I just hope it isn't a mad dash on deadline day where we end up with someone just as shit coming in to replace him last minute.

UPDATE ON DYKES
A Scottish club (not Rangers or Celtic) will be bidding 4 million for him in the very near future.
i have been told That this figure will be accepted but Dykes wants to stay in England.
lets hope Burnley can match the offer as Millwall and Stoke reluctant to meet our valuation of 4.5 million
