That’s wonderful news on Dykes, there was me thinking we would be stuck with him for the rest of the season.

UPDATE ON DYKES A Scottish club (not Rangers or Celtic) will be bidding 4 million for him in the very near future. i have been told That this figure will be accepted but Dykes wants to stay in England. lets hope Burnley can match the offer as Millwall and Stoke reluctant to meet our valuation of 4.5 million Yeah, ain't having that mate. There isn't a Scottish club other than the old Firm with 4m to spend on a player.

There’s a club in the world, that looking for a striker, have seen dykes, could be interested. Could offer 5 or 2 or 4 or 3 million, this year or next.

If Hibs pay 4m for Dykes I'd be extremely surprised to say the least.

no chance have hibs bid 4m for dykes. scottish clubs don't have spending power outside of rangers and celtic and even their spending is comparable to championship clubs.

It looks look it’s just Hibs in the hunt now, Burnley have today decided to part with 8.8m on Lyle Foster from some Belgium club.

It's not going to happen, is it? Dykes is staying and we're not going to get anyone. Normal service resumed.

Nisbet is rumoured to have had second thoughts on personnel terms with Millwall, good time for our club to come to their senses around Dykes valuation.

Ellersierdqblock would like to say the following statement. There was no partying during lockdown in no10. The earth is flat,Iraq did have weapons of mass destruction. Monika never had any sexual relations with bill Clinton, Jews and lizards rule the world and Jedwoods album is the best he ever owned.

Nisbet is rumoured to have had second thoughts on personnel terms with Millwall, good time for our club to come to their senses around Dykes valuation. What in your view would be sensible? Am not asking what you would pay for him (not a lot probably) but what you think should be the lowest price the club should accept, keeping in mind that there is almost certainly no extra money other than this revenue to buy a replacement? Of the so-called 3m offer most of the news stories around it referred to a significant amount of that 3m being add ons, and some of those adds ons would almost certainly be ones we could never cash in on (for sake of argument, 1m of the 3m if Millwall get promoted, another 1m if he scores 20 goals this season, say). So I'm talking about what would you accept as a minimum up front? I would be very surprised if Millwall were ever offering more than about 1m up front, maybe £1.5m. Genuine question, not having a dig, if you were the DoF would you accept that? Or if a few other clubs were sniffing around would you wait till later in the window to see if you could squeeze a bit more out of the deal?

I would accept 1.5m now rather than getting nothing in the future, plenty of evidence that Gregg supplied that 1m could buy a better striker than Dykes. It’s not a coincidence that coming to a mutual agreement with Benik Afobe to leave ,Millwall are able to spread out a transfer fee over a contract and being able to bring in another.
