All the more reason to get safe ASAP as suspect we could be relying a lot more on youngsters next season. Amazing what a win does to make everyone so confident on here. We often seem to struggle at Blackpool, I'd be happy with a point and try to get a little unbeaten run going. Said the same on the Blackpool match thread. I'd be happy with a point but can't see it happening. I'm feeling a bit more optimistic. I think there really does seem to be a big change in mood and attitude around the squad. If that really is the case, I think they'll be well up for the game at Bloomfield Road tonight - but it's a 6-pointer and Blackpool are going to be up for it too. Still, I'm expecting to get something up there today - even thinking 3 points could be on the cards.

Even if we lose I saw enough on Saturday to feel they are giving it their all.

We need to forget Blackpool, there should easily be enough home points to keep us up - which is just as well because I can’t see another away point. Maybe one at Wigan.

Points gap to the drop zone down to seven, but with our crap goal difference it's effectively just six points. But Swansea overtake us as the worst form side in the division. The form of the three immediately below us makes me think we still need at least 2 wins to be safe.

It just depends on how often we can be arsed to turn up.
If we do get it together more often than not, I reckon there's 9-12 points to be had.
If.

On form we're fucked.
I've been saying for ages not a chance we go down. As the weeks pass I'm starting to taste my own words!

Wigan and Huddersfield not due points deductions for admin? If so only really Blackpool to keep an eye on.
This could be the only luck we’ve had this season.

Can't see us surviving if I'm completely honest unless other teams keep being as shit as we are or get points deductions.
Ultimately no midfield and no goalscorers = relegation

When will Huddersfield, Reading and Wigan be deducted points?

Top in late October now hoping for teams to get points deducted. What a shambles.

tbh i'm leaning more towards us being relegated but who knows how much our form will improve when the likes of chair and willock come back. here's our final run in.
wigan A preston H west brom A coventry H norwich H burnley A stoke A bristol c H
difficult to predict were the points are coming from imo.

Safety buffer now down to 6 points. Really need key players to get back to fitness during the international break. Rotherham v Cardiff to be rearranged - a win for either side would see them leapfrog QPR. Think a draw would be the best result for us.

Problem is we have reached the stage where you honestly can't see where the next win is coming from, let alone two of them True, but a few weeks ago, looking at the upcoming fixtures I had Watford down as one of the least likely sources of points - yet it's the only one we've won in yonks! Unless Gareth loses the dressing room completely and the the players are up for a scrap, I still think we'll be OK, but the bum is definitely getting a bit squeaky...

Are we only 3 points ahead of Huddersfield?? No, fortunately we're still 6 points clear of them - I think you're looking at the 'extrapolated' points column, ie, if teams' form over the last 6 games was replicated through to the end of the season.
