Yes I'd be the first to say our form probably deserves the manager getting the tin tack but who could do better with an underperforming, average squad at a club with no money and a transfer embargo?
I just don't see the point in this one. Maybe I'm alone on this but I'm confident we won't go down, we won't go anywhere so why sack now?
Id of been happier to see out this piss poor season, give the manager SOME kind of budget to work with, get rid of the crap like Lynch, Bidwell, Cousins, Luongo and go again.
Whats the bets we end up with either Darren Moore or Rowett who apparently previously rejected us? Ramsey caretaker?

Not gonna lie Matty after the game Saturday I thought it's time but in the cold light of day I don't think it really makes sense.

Same as mate, heat of the moment I was fuming Saturday but when you take a step back and look at the total lack of resources he is working with, legit can't see it being any better with anybody else in charge. Based on the fact that we are unlikely to go down.... I agree with not sacking him now.
But if we continue with this form for the remainder of the season, it is going to be a massive job to get this group of players up for it over the summer....
I just can't see any manager worth his salt looking at the R's job as even vaguely appealing

Yea I'd go with what he achieved at Brentford as the yard stick. On a hiding to nothing at Rangers & even Forest with their nutty owner at the time. Maybe he works better in a smaller, tighter environment?

Rumours circulating on Warburton taking over. I was told on Saturday that Chris Powell was at the game. Genuinely, if he is appointed, we will be relegated next season. 100%.

I just can't see any manager worth his salt looking at the R's job as even vaguely appealing I disagree about the timing. It means the position is vacant with immediate effect and those interested can apply for it. It also gives us enough time to identify a manager and targets if the applicants aren't what we're looking for. I also disagree with how the job will be viewed. We'll certainly not attract high profile managers but we will attract managers who aspire to better things and will see us as an opportunity to increase their reputation and our fortunes. Agreed mate, nothing wrong with the timing. 1 win in 15 games, just lost to possibly the worst side in the league, and the manager is allowing the fans to dictate his substitutions. Had to go now really. I also don't see Eustace as a caretaker manager doing any worse in the remaining games. 1 win from the remainder should put us safe. I just don't know where we go from here though. With so many managerial appointments going wrong since Fernandes came in, surely it's time we started looking further up the food chain and having a cull at boardroom level too?!!

100% agree after Saturday, We need a man who can lead and Saturday showed that McClaren is not that kind of man. Wish him the best of luck going forward

Sherwood....please god no. Warnock, McInnes would be great but think Warburton is a safe bet I'd love Warnock back, and he'll be available this summer I'm sure. Watch our clueless board go and appoint Sherwood now instead. Personally I wouldn't have either Warburton or Sherwood. Neither are right for us at the moment. I'd be surprised if either even lasted a season!

Am I the only one who wants us to steer clear of Darren Moore? 4th with a squad that should've destroyed this league. If we had their squad I'd think 4th was a shit season to be honest.

Im no fan of McClaren but QPR could Replace him With the immaterial souls of Telê Santana and Rinus Michels, yet still be as fit for Purpose as a 2" Leather Lace up Condom for John Bindon.
Tony Fernandes is a catastrophe, yet still some Fans hold this waco davidian love for him as he rides the corpse of this club into the void. We're a Victorian freak show under him.
I've Wanted Kenny Jackett here for at least 4 years but there's more chance of me asking for a footw ank from the pisshoof claws of Emily Thornberry while she recites 'Das Kapital' , than Kenny coming here.

If we had their squad I'd think 4th was a shit season to be honest. its going to be powell mate. les wanted him a couple of seasons back. after jfh got the sack, bungle came into town and over ruled dof les by first appointing colin as temp then hollowhead and McClown. He probably thinks that dof les deserves another chance to pick now and powell was a guest of dof les on saturday. God help us.

I'd leave it with Eustace until the end of the season, then they have more time and possibly options.
Sherwood would be a disaster as would Chris Powell

Huddersfield and Norwich unearthed gems in Wagner and Farke and both had tight budgets to work with. That is the route I would look at especially if the footballing people do the ground work in finding the right person.
