But Sherwood is good at developing youngsters and getting them through? Doesn`t that count? A no-nonsens character he is aswell. And honestly, who cares about his personality if the players respect him. Just a thought.. What, because he played Harry Kane? Remind me how it went at Swindon while he was there. Bloke's an utter clown. Clown? He is not funny. On a second thought, today, while having slept on it, i`m a tad more concerned about his lack of a clear plan B.

You should be more concerned with his lack of management jobs since the spurs sacking.
we already have previous for picking up oddballs by rummaging around skips and appointing them manager.
No need to try that experiment again.

Too right. Surely the first thing we should look at when hiring anyone is, have they actually done the job in the last year.

Remind me how it went at Swindon while he was there. Is it punctuationally correct for rhetorical questions to have no question mark, Hubs? Have often wondered It's more a question of syntax than punctuation. Anyway, I didn't like following one sentence ended by a question mark with another one. (And I didn't feel it needed one.) The rules are not set in stone, after all, they're made to be broken. As long as it's done with style

Back in the 80`s some former friends of mine started a band called "Syntax Error". If I remember correctly they were influenced by Depeche Mode and Howard Jones etc.

Just had a look at the odds and Warne and Appleton are the two who have shortened up today, Yesterday it was Bowyer and the day of McClaren being sacked it was Warburton. Totally underwhelmed by both Warne and Appleton and would not want either.

Not convinced about Bowyer. He has managed only one season and one club. Very risky. Reminds me of appointment of Jimmy Floyd.

Would rather have Bowyer than Appleton and Warne who seem to be the flavour of the day today. Do not trust our board to get it right and yet again we do not seem to actually have a target which sums up the current ownership's reign perfectly.

Trouble is we're ambitious despite our parlous situation and any manager is bound to struggle. Does it really matter?

Lots of goals which appears to come from an attacking style as opposed to JFH's tenure at Burton where literally averaged 1 goal a game. We could see the very same style when we got him. Chalk and cheese stylistically imo.

Blimey Wests.
Just looked at wikipedia and think he’d be better suited as an interpreter for a PL club. 😂

Why not? This ones interesting. Fair few unknown foreign managers have succeeded in the Championship in recent years.

Keep going Disco as he is the man needed right now. He would definitely get a reaction from that shower that had our kit on today

I reckon the club just made this up to make it look like they’re looking at new candidates.....when really it’s just Tim

I'm not sure how you worked that out Shania, the bloke has hardly any managerial experience, and no success of any significance whatsoever. He is quite good looking though, is that what swayed you?

I have a feeling Ainsworth will be given the job which is not something that appeals to me personally.
