Laird over Kakay everyday of the week personally. me too but we're so bad that kakay needs to be in the team somewhere, maybe as a winger. he's the only player over the past few months that hasn't dropped off in the form, everyone else has just gotten worse when your form is at bottom it can’t get worse😀

Its like walking down endless flights of stairs in a tall building. You can't believe there are so many floors below ground. But every time you think you have reached the basement, it turns out there is another floor. Stainrod's philosophical reflection of the day...

If your plane goes down in the Antarctic you don’t take your coat off do you. Except we have stripped completely off bringing him in. We didn’t attempt to light a fire

Completely agree with much of what was said on that if not all of it! 10 games in and we gave Critchley 11 league games.

I think appointing GA will affect our ability to attract decent loans. If we play a really basic form of the game who is going to send promising players here for development?

To be fair, what we thought were decent loans this season, have turned out to be anything but...... Laird and Tim are good players. Laird was outstanding is first part of season. Tim has been our best midfielder at times but is inconsistent due to his age. If Ainsworth cant get best out of Laird and Tim, that’s his fault. Doesn’t mean these 2 loans are bad.

Quality players?
Perhaps in their technical ability.
But do they give an actual fuck?
Don't know how true this is, but I read on Twitter that Willock didn't sign the contract extension and will be off in the summer for free.

Also, the deluded Ainsworth going on about how he's a Blackburn lad so will be well up for his 'derby' with local rivals Burnley on Saturday - as if the players will give a monkey's about that...

I can’t listen to his pre and post match. It’s just annoying and depressing. Little digs at previous regime he drops in.

I’m on Twitter but it’s full of people who think they know everything and who create lots of friction with the rumours they create. I thought Willock had one more year so next season he would walk on free so in theory to make money has to be sold end of season

Obvs great result, beautiful.
Thing as manager still scares the absolute bejesus out of me, it's completely clear from everything he says he's simply brought the Wycombe approach lock stock and dumped it on us.
Love the commitment if we can reproduce it but we have to offer more than goal line heroics.
Can he adapt so that we can still defend but offer a little bit more on the ball?

Listen to his interviews. He's made it clear on more than one occasion that he holds no great stock on possession based football, and gives his reasons for it.

I have to take issue with this Hal: "we have to offer more than goal line heroics". I know how much you despise (or is that too strong? Dislike, perhaps?) GA's playing style/tactics, but you'd have to be wearing pretty anti-GA tinted glasses not to see the good stuff the team managed yesterday as well. Those 2 goals didn't score themselves. And bearing in mind everything that's gone before, and who we were playing, there were some decent passages of play that hinted at much better to come, once the circumstances aren't desperate. I think we've got to cut GA some slack because his brief has been fairly stark: keep us up, at all costs. I think I've seen enough to show that we could be playing much better football, given less extreme circumstances.
I know I did a 180 on GA, so I'm guilty of judging him as much as anyone, but at the same time, credit where credit's due: he may have more to offer than we're giving him credit for. With the emphasis on 'may', of course.

It's a simple fact that we have to offer more than goal line heroics, because you cant sit back like we do for long periods like we do and bank on not conceding every week. Less possession if fine as long as you use it when you've got it. We give away an awful lot of ball. I think there has to some tactical flexibility in there, that's the modern game, and I'm not really seeing that. Like I said, I love the commitment we showed, credit there, but I'm not getting carried away just yet.

Credit for yesterday's result and the character shown by the group. Not a fan of the style of play up to this point. Lets hope we clear the behind the scenes and get someone in to improve the recruitment side of things.
