If he can get a tune out of Willoch and Chair I think he will be safe. Assuming we don't sell them, that is. At this point I’d be fucking willock off. No contract for extension, doesn’t look interested or that he’s got the bollocks for a fight.

If he'd joined us in the off-season he would be getting far more slack than he's getting now. I'm convinced it's mainly down to some of the football we played under him at the end of last season DESPITE all the various mitigating circumstances he had to cope with at the time. (And nothing to do with his appearance/image imo). Personally speaking, yes I do have concerns, but as others have said you really need to give him at least 12 games to prove his worth. 9 absolute tops. This looks a strong division and knowing our board it could take months to replace him. Personally I hope he's got twenty points in the bank by then. We'll see. 20 points in 9 games? Think you are being a bit pessimistic there.🤓

He needs moving on as good as he can be he has not fight or desire at all. Take what we can while we are able to do so. Will not sign again so let him go now

Part of a Gaz piece on BBC:
So, 'no way' Gaz is promising us staying up...
Lack of confidence in himself and/or the team, or just being realistic?
Either way, not exactly filling me with confidence.

I'm a firm believer in undersell, over deliver, but Ainsworth's interviews fill me with zero confidence. He needs some media training.

He needs some media training. definately. what he's saying will be noted by the rest of the squad unless its some kind of genius masterplan were he's told the team "hey lads, watch this *giggle*". he just looks like he's lost his fight and passion. i don't remember him being like this when he was at wycombe in the championship, he acknowledged that he was up against it yes, but he was gunna give it a right go in the league and they almost did.

Underwhelmed by the club and manager right now. He will not be in his post at the end of the season and if he is then we will be relegated.

Dreading tomorrow. Be simpler if someone just tipped a wheelbarrow full of manure onto the pitch.

He will be gone by the end of September, 73 I cannot disagree but then you do need to look at this board as they gone for pass pass pass under Warburton and to a lesser extent old sloppy chops Beale to dinosaur football under Ainsworth. Where on earth do you go next

Progress? Warburton and Beale kind of similar but not Ainsworth. Any progress went once we appointed Ainsworth

Progress Is when your in premier league and sustainable in position, we fucked it up. Everything since except training ground is backwards. We had a chance of promotion 2 seasons ago and blew it by not doing what was needed to get it over line. Bournemouth did. They a club who have progressed we have regressed more than a alien abductty

Not sure how everyman and his dog knows whats going to happen yet, the board just want to continue down this path until the inevitable happens and we are rock bottom. instead of having a board that is proactive, we are left with a group who knows sweet fuck all about this sport. another wasted season is upon us with another one or two managerial changes to try to rescue this club from dinosaur ball distruction

Any progress went once we appointed Ainsworth i agree tbh, i love ainsworth and still think we'll either be great or terrible this season under us. but he is a total contrast to the ethos the club has tried to implement in recent years. i'd go back as far as mcclaren to that culture we tried, total 180 with ainsworth at the wheel and while i liked parts of what i saw in preseason this season does worry me. i brought my nephews first ST this year but he will be in for a major shock. i kind of wish we were relegated last year. yeah, it would have been awful but we would have been guaranteed some wins and if not straight back up a year or 2 in league 1 would have allowed us to rebuild and refind ourselves.

Twice these people had a go at the PL and twice they fucked it up to such a degree that we will never recover

I wish he would stop talking to the press, especially to the BBC.
Every time he speaks about the club it’s always negative and how he’s been dealt such a bad hand here by it’s previous employees.
I’m sure if I were any of Ruben,Ferdinand, Critchley or Beale I would be having an interesting conversation with him.

Not too sure he’s in a position to advise anyone how to behave as a football manager.
