hope no one minds me making the thread but lets crack on now that we have a new boss!
i don't expect us to win the game, i'd be very happy with a draw but i certainly feel much more motivated and excited with mr urmm not in the dugout.

I don`t think the dog will chew his handle just yet. A draw will be handy.

I'm not expecting a win at all, I'd just like to see a step up in performance and desire. Would take a draw right now.

Be nice to see 100% being given. That has to be the first win we can hope for

We'll have much stronger spirit than under Crichley, that's for sure. Key is if we can create chances as that's been our main problem. It would also be very important to score the first goal. Pretty confident we'll win this.

They've got a lot of injuries and even Critchley won his first game. 2-1 to the Rrrrs

Impossible to say without knowing what team he picks or how we'll line up. At least we got him in early, so he has time on the training field.
With Dunne and Dickie at the back, we won't keep a clean sheet.
Ainsworth will (hopefully) have us attacking. 2-2 draw.

Already in 6mins gives me more belief than Critchley did the entire time he was here. He genuinely wants to take us places and whether he does or not I'm bloody well here for it. Come on Gaz, come on you R's!

Saw something on WW forum about Ainsworth having some altercation with Dickie during his time with Oxford.
Dickie looks absolutely shot of confidence, if anybody needs a bit of a lift from Ainsworth motivational skills it’s him.

He’s never been quick but when he was supposedly linked to Prem clubs he looked a much better player. He’s not the only one who looks absolutely shot towards the end of a game. WW not the greatest footballing side but they were fit.

There was a time not so long ago when Dickie's name was the first one on the team sheet. Here's hoping he can get that form back.

Very good interview in fairness from GA. Frustration is it seems at our level you can't have the complete package - you either get a very good coach (supposedly anyway) in someone like Critchley, or a Mr Motivator type like Ainsworth. Am v confident Gareth will do well this season and we desperately need that enthusiasm and energy which that limp lettuce Critchley was never capable of delivering. Lets get this season out of the way first, but for me the challenge is next year - will he recruit skilful players who we can develop and sell on, will we play with the style that would enable those players to step up to the Premier League, either with us or another club if sold? But for now lets just hope the mood - and results - start to lift around Loftus Rd.

Qpr last decade roughly has been a place where players come to die in form terms. Player graveyard
