Revenues up …..but only because we could get into the stadium Costs up….by 10m…partly back to normal after Covid but 2 points
191 staff - players and coaches are 136!!! Senior management - take home 1.9m
No comment.
No Eze….so we lost 25m!!
17m injected by the owners to keep us afloat. 7m from the bond proceeds.
Chuckle brothers still here…..literally unbelievable.
Going to have to sell our best players I would imagine in the summer.

Yes it doesn't look good. Gross loss 24 million, so pissing away 2M a month last year it seems.

Looks to me like £8.5m can be instantly deducted off FFP for funding to build the new training ground?
Ownership is confirmed as 51% Ruben Gnamamlingn 26% Fernandes 11% Reily

Clearly, this now shows that we have too many coaches and a dof who is clueless. It’s time for them to get off the gravy train

Sales of £250k don’t make sense to me as Jordy was sold to German club for £750k, unless that was concluded outside these published accounts or spread out with down payments over the length of his contract?

So do these accounts burst the ballon of the camp of fans who say we should be taking risk and investing and buying players or the camp which say you can’t spend what you don’t have??

Reading were deducted 6 points and placed under wage and transfer embargo for spending 18.8m over FFP, it’s weighing up risk and reward.

Folks
We are losing money due to the club overheads and lack of marketing not because of the supporters who fill the ground every week
Like any business cut your overheads and employment count , trim the bills and say good bye to Les thats a start.
Increase marketing , increase media and advertising and sell a player standard business

If you dont help yourself promote your business you cannot moan about the downsides
Re name stadium to a major company Get a better shirt sponsor Promote the club in the local area Cut the head count slightly Stop building marketing suites
Just a start

IIRC from reading Kieran Maguire financial reports that were published previously up 3 or 4m can also be deducted off these figures?
Take the building cost of training ground and it could be that those figures are below FFP?
Maybe someone else more knowledgeable can shoot this down in flames regarding our immediate aim of keeping within FFP for next season.

We are losing money- like everyone else- because football has been fucked by the big six, the London and Manchester Reds and Blues and the Liverpool Reds, their foreign money, the maladministration of the Premier League, and those vile greedy Sky fucks. Unless and until that changes and they are fucked out of the domestic game, things will go from bad to worse.

So do these accounts burst the ballon of the camp of fans who say we should be taking risk and investing and buying players or the camp which say you can’t spend what you don’t have?? Dont think fans want the club to spend vast amounts of money on new players Westy. Plenty of good experienced loan players out there and free transfers and better scouting abroad would help a great deal You dont need to spend millions of pounds to be more successful sometimes. The days of spending millions are gone i think we all know that now hopefully. Its more the running of the club that is pissing off the fans i think

I would guess so Corbray, I would say there was a big clue in last seasons winter transfer window where we were haggling over the proposed transfer fee of Paterson from Swansea,.
The figures released today for me are not something that was unexpected but just reality.

So, owners funding the club £2m a month, give or take.
Building training ground reducing the FFP fine(?)
Understand frustration (anger?) at an apparent lack of direction or success in young player development and bringing on saleable assets, but frankly, who is going to come in and buy into that money pit?
Not perfect by any means, but I'm putting faith in the new training complex helping to attract and bring on players, even though we probably won't see results for at least 2 years.

Liverpool just posted their figures for last season, from incoming revenue of £594m they made “just” a £7.5m profit.
It certainly puts our figures into perspective.

If we are losing 23 mill a year why did they build a new training ground ?
How much do chelsea / bournmouth / millwall / fulham lose every year
Its the same for every club
