Any hooliganism and football violence related posts please post them in here from now on. That way anyone wishing to read and engage with them can visit this thread. This is not therefore (or should not be taken as) censorship in any way, which RFI is against in principle.
And for the avoidance of any doubt - we fully understand that football violence historically and culturally plays a part in our national sport. Nevertheless RFI is first and foremost a QPR forum, so that needs remembering too. We're also mindful that the subject is of no interest to many people reading this forum. It therefore makes more sense to keep it all in one area.
Thank you.

Late 70s early 80s WHU were busy, only real tear up I got involved in was LR vs WHU outside the ground. They were looking for action from anyone coming out from Loft end.
Brother got a smack inna Loft off Chelsea round the same time. Back then it didn't matter if you were quiet as a church mouse or looking for trouble, you'd find it or it would find you.
It was part of the culture, and for a lot of people part of the buzz, added a bit of spice. But like I say back then WHU felt pretty up front.....

We took it to West Ham few times by their market, never going to win more of a suicidal run.

I remember seeing a tidy group of C Mob looking for it against West Ham in the back roads near HQ. Thought that was pretty good given their reputation then.

I.was in Elerslie Rd stand when some fan got thrown from the old tea bar in the top right corner of the Loft down into Elerslie seats when we played WHU in a night game.
I only remember resistance to Arsenal fans taking over Loft end,

I only remember resistance to Arsenal fans taking over Loft end, you mean the old balcony right in the corner? often used to go up there, some memorable characters..... I'm pretty sure I remember CFC in the Loft. Bruv certainly did ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

All of the known London clubs took over the upper loft area in 70s, only proper resistance was Arsenal and I can remember partial resistance to Spuds. WHU Millwall and the scum were overwhelming in their numbers and were unopposed from memory.Scum broke the wall which was designated for kids at front of the loft in the FA Cup replay.

Even in the 90s other teams fans were still taking over parts of LR. I remember an FA cup game, maybe 98 (Bradley Allen missed a pen) when we were surrounded by scum in R or S block (can't remember which). The funny thing was, they didn't know how to deal with my constant calling them out. I remember very louldy listing all the cants who were scum fans, like John Major and David Mellors. Maybe I was lucky they won!

Numbers are not all that, a solid few will shift bigger numbers. This is due to fact that the bigger mob will have a lot of toy hoolies who look the part but stay at back bouncing and shouting. The solid mob will just get straight about their work and deff have the numbers on a back foot.

Got married during THAT season and my wedding band came off celebrating a goal. Guy about 6 feet away saw it on the floor! Stood above the Loft stairs before 69 but my dad got sick of having to move us every game when away support turned up.

my dad has a funny hooligan story from when he was about 13/14. he's a fulham fan and back then they were pretty shit but tickets were cheap so he'd go to as many games as he could with his mates.
his parents were going away on holiday for a week so my dad was going to be left home alone. he had older brothers but they'd all moved out so his parents left my dad some money to get by along with food in the house, his brothers would check in though. rather than be a responsible good boy he instead used the money to get a nice new pocketless tracksuit and a haircut.
so saturday comes and my dad and his mates get their train tickets and head to the ground. my dad was wearing his new tracksuit so he gave his money and train ticket to one of his mates to look after. fulham ended up winning against grimsby, everyones happy and after clapping the players they begin their walk back to the station and had to take a walk through a park.
they're loving life and singing fulham chants when all of a sudden a few older grimsby fans accost them and begin threatening them. one of my dads mates shouted "knife!" so they all scatter in opposite directions.
so now my dad is in a pickle, he's in the middle of london with no money or his train ticket back home. after trying and failing to persuade one of the TFL workers to let him through he had no choice but to use a phone and call the only number he could remember - one of his parents friends.
the friend drove up to london to pick him up and my dad knew he was in massive shit when his parents got back. sure enough, he was.

You fucking scum of the earth. Bullys, inadequates, psychopaths, everything that is wrong with humanity. I spit on you and all yours. Cunts.

I spit on you and all yours. Cunts. I would agree that deliberately getting involved in physical altercations is a really dumb move, especially if you're not trained in some form of martial art e.g. Brazilian jiu jitsu. Otherwise you're liable to get yourself seriously hurt or possibly even killed. If you do find yourself unwittingly involved, the far more intelligent thing to do in the first instance is to attempt to diffuse the situation and talk your way out (always keeping as much distance as possible between you and them whilst doing so), or if that's not possible, run. Fighting would always be a final resort. And no, that is not cowardly - on the contrary, it's being smart. Speak with any black belt martial artist and they'll always tell you this.
