I hope we stick with three attacking players. They look ok for now (yes, even my mate Dykes😁) and Martin’s goal was really well taken. It’s the defence and midfield that needs sorting - and Dieng needs to get his fucking act together again asap.

I don’t think “tearing into them” will make a difference. It’s not attitude here, there’s more to it than that. Yep they're a mentally pathetic bunch. Wen Critchley nailed them after the Fleetwood defeat they all folded like a deck of cards, no reaction at all. critchley has the man management skills of a plastic bag though. i think gareth will be able to get a response out of the players, its one of the things he's noted as doing well with watford being a good example of that. last night was utterly humiliating, if we were playing man city i'd understand. i wouldn't be happy for sure but a 6-1 defeat to them is expected. |

Reverted to type, and some. Saturday will be interesting. |

fellow posters, one of the worse performances I've ever witnessed. Defenders literally panicking at the mighty Blackpool. This was Man. Utd. 2nd half performance at Liverpool X20

He at least speaks honestly, Jimmy. Doesn't single out individuals but doesn't hold back either in calling them out as a team and saying it was totally unacceptable. Agreed. And we should have had pen too if the ref had been consistent. Can't even bring myself to watch it tbh. I will at some point but these fucking players are doing my nut in & I can't believe we've actually conceded 6 to the mighty fucking Blackpool. What a fucking joke. |
