Brett Angel has to be the worst in my time. Eric Sabin, Stefan Moore, Sammy Kojoe and JET also get a mention though. Started his career in 86 and came to us in 02, by which time he was comprehensively done. Vast majority of his goals prior to that came at tier 3 or lower. Wtf did we expect? |

This is a bit of fun but not really scientific as it doesn’t really take into account overall contribution. There are a few that I’d rather have in the team than others for the benefit of those alongside them not just how many they scored. That’s my beef with Dykes, if he doesn’t score he’s pointless.

True. But the idea for the poll will be to take all factors into account. i.e. overall contribution, appearances, work rate, goals etc. |

You've all named pretty much every awful striker I can think of, but the standout worst of all of those for me was Conor Washington. It got to the point where I couldn't bear watching him. He had Dykes' ability to completely fail to anticipate a through ball or a rebound, but combined that with the most woeful finishing. Of course the competition is pretty stiff for the the title, but my vote goes to Conor.
