if we do bring in some more players then great as long as they're quality ones.
the main thing worrying me about these signings is that we're signing squad players to be our 1st teamers. all very uninspiring imo.

It's true but the way I see it is anyone is better than nothing right now as with this current crop we're going down like a $10 whore. Gives us a smidgen of options and injury cover not to mention a step up in quality, Gubbins = Cook. No brainer. Colback = Dozzell. No brainer. Begovic = Dieng. No brainer. |

Duke-Mackenna has had pre-season match time, made an appearance against Watford and has been praised by Ainsworth. But at 22, he's too old to be granted an 'exemption' by EFL rules. He's not currently shown in the first team squad, despite his Watford appearance.
The current squad are all too old for exemption except Armstrong (20). Kelman is 21 but will be 22 in early November.
So, with a rumoured 4 or 5 incoming, who's going?
Suspect one or two sales and maybe the likes of Gubbins and Drewe out on loan?

Oh, and what happened to our 'small squad', much talked about by Gaz a few weeks ago...?
