Never even come close to being able to afford Townsend's wages. He’s not on a fat lot at the moment and if no one wants him……… Don’t get it, surely someone like a Sheff Wed or Boro would be interested. |

I suggested we went after him before GA came here. He’s exactly what we were looking for. Dropped by Arse, decent young player to develop. Was playing well and scoring. Why Bristol went for him.
