Now that we are safe, would you like Ainsworth kept on for next season?

On balance I’d give him til Xmas to see his style of football with his own squad.

He’s earned a proper crack. What an absolute nightmare to work in it must have been. That being said if the football doesn’t improve he will be on thin ice but I have a lot more faith in him than I did pre West Brom. The players are clearly playing for him and he has galvanised the squad in a really tough time. That deserves a lot of credit

Sorry but it’s a no from me as before he was appointed
However he will not be sacked as they don’t do anything that is best for the club
As much as I hate him I would employ Nathan jones to sort the team out
The team needs completly re building atm

The question is how will he play as he needs to play on the front foot once the season starts. I assume he has an idea of ins and outs so we will have to see how it pans out.

Don’t think we should dress it up anymore this season has been a total disaster
We are very lucky today that we are not going into Div 1

The players are clearly playing for him and he has galvanised the squad in a really tough time. And that factor alone is worth its weight in gold. We have witnessed that in spades the way the players have dug out those last two performances.

Clearly he has no trust at all in Willock and is pleased to move him on.

Absolutely yes. Deserves a chance to give it a crack with a clean slate and a pre season after having turned around the worst form that I can remember in years.

Not for me , his teams don`t play football the way I want to see Rangers play . Its as simple as that ,even though his heart is in the right place it`s not enough for me .

I think it's also worth keeping in mind that his priority has been survival at all costs, over and above style, just to ensure we stay in the division. On that basis alone he has succeeded, albeit it took a while for the results to come since his arrival - but that also wasn't too surprising considering what a departure it was from Critchley's style which the players were used to, and Beale before that. Further, Ainsworth is on record as saying possession based football is over-rated and far from his priority in terms of getting results. It's just not his way and he's been very transparent about that.

Yes but don’t linger if it is obviously not working. I can’t see him ever getting us up though.

I voted yes because I want to see more from of Ainsworth AND Dobson. on a sidenote: The players seem to back him and his enthusiasm so why shouldn't I?

Absolutely should stay. Eventually managed to get the right mentality into a bunch of players who for various reasons, including their own shortcomings, were performing well below par. He needs an opportunity to make wholesale changes to the playing squad and should be more than aware of players that may well be a great fit for us. Don’t believe for a moment that he is one dimensional. Certain things can’t be achieved with players that are unwilling to adapt THEIR styles. Luton have proved beyond doubt that there is more to this game than big names and expensive players on ridiculous salaries. Should definitely be looking to keep him for at least the next two seasons IMO.

Yes I agree. I`m not saying he is the long term solution, but a new manager have to begin all of over again. Sorting out the bad apples, implementing yet another playing style and so on...

I hate sentiment, so what he played for us, he done a job more by luck than any skill. He’s had a good crack by us and Watford standard’s and he not upto level of club we are. It’s elite sport not a old school reunion

The voting could swing a little come Monday week following our final game at home to Bristol. But not by much I imagine, being a dead rubber for both sides, unless we perform really poorly.

I do want him to stay and do well no question And he deserves the chance to do that
I can just see us looking for a new manager After 17 matches and the fans not likeing
The football being served up fans have short Memories
The best manager was Warborton until it went South which was a massive shame and never Been explained i personally think the dof was Responsible for this situation as cost us Promotion
