Had a really good debate ,argument ,near stabbing scenario with some pals ( 2 Chelsea ,1 Millwall ,1 Palace and me ) on friday night , about the Biggest club from the Big Smoke ! Good natured .but got quite heated ! For me .. 1 Arsenal 2 Spurs 3 Chelsea/West Ham 4 Palace /QPR 5 Charlton 6 Fulham 7 Brentford/ Wimbledon 8 Leyton Orient 9 Dagenham/Sutton/Barnet
Thoughts appreciated ....
( we dont know whether you can include Barnet , because although Barnet comes under London ,they actually play their home games outside Greater London ,in Hertfordshire now ! )

We looking historical or now Vesps? Breaks my heart to say it but if it’s in current times palace and Fulham have surpassed us. Five six years ago would have said were above them not now

Five six years ago would have said were above them not now I'd even say Brentford are on the cusp of surpassing us too. New ground coming, on the up in the 2nd tier, much more likely to be a Premier League club than us in the near future.

Big clubs become small ones, it happens. Look at Bolton, Notts County etc and in London Charlton were massive way back when.
We're way down the pecking order these days. Painfully below the Ruperts and a long way behind Palace. Thats us, right now. It's just as likely to get worse under this board as it is to get better.
Oh and by the way Arsenal were always bigger than Chelsea.

Maybe it's because I live in Norf London, but Spurs and Arsenal are much bigger than Chelsea in terms of fan base. Lots of star fuckers and corporate whores only started following Chelsea when the kleptomaniac started spending Russian money on them.....

Arsenal Spurs Chelsea West Ham Palace Fulham QPR Charlton Millwall Brentford Orient Wimbledon Barnet That's pretty much how I see it. I'd put Millwall above Charlton though.

Trouble is they rely on a golden generation and never have the money to maintain it.

Got say in Malaga only London club really represented is Arsenal. Tons of adults and kids in Arsenal tops.
In bar Friday for opening game against Palace and was loads of arsenal. Chelsea game Sunday only a handful.
Seen more Leeds shirts and Man Utd then spurs and Chelsea combined

Brentford are arguably bigger than us now... I mean, I think they are, they're light years ahead of us.... but that's what's it's all about, right? The adventure, the rollercoaster? It wouldn't be fun if we were top all the time, would it?! I quite like the whole journey of it all, it feels very tribal. And I like that. Happy Lion's Gate, one and all.

It is not just about the here and now though is it. There is history and tradition etc and well known players over the years. In my very biased opinion they are not bigger than us yet hubs.

Yeah, fair point mate, I suppose it depends how you look at it. I don't think Millwall or Charlton are above us either.

Surely Chelsea are bigger than Arsensl and Tottenham now
They are champions league winners globally
Qpr bigger than Millwall and Brentford as a club
Fulham bigger than Qpr now too

Dont Think Chelsea are anywhere close to having volume of fans as arsenal Or Spurs or West Ham. Think I heard said on TV that WHU have 55000 season ticket holders this year.
