I think that’s a really positive step.
No comments on doping 😊

Just on our new fitness coach. One of the main complaints about the Oxford performance was they out-ran us. So how's that working out...? Ben Williams clearly big cog in the wheel he got name check few times and Gareth said he’s going to be key in ensuring players are fit. 🤔

Does that mean he's left us then or is working there on top of his job at QPR?

Strange that there's been no official statement. He is still listed on the staff directory. Sort it out.

Replace him quickly. Surely not a coincidence that injury record has improved and an athlete who appeared to struggle with stamina has been moved on.

Anyone know if we're lining up a replacement?
And why no official announcement when he left?

Or did he ever actually leave?
He's still listed on the official and he's with us on his Twitter...

Alas, it's true: press release from a couple of weeks ago.
The Nets grasp that we are indeed elite!
"Ben Williams begins his first season in Brooklyn as director of high performance, where he will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Nets’ performance team. In a career spanning 18 years, Williams has become a high performance and innovation leader and has worked with elite organizations including Queens Park Rangers Football Club of the English Football League Championship, INEOS Grenadiers Pro Cycling, INEOS Brittania, OGC Nice Football in France’s Ligue 1, Red Bull, Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing and Manchester City in England’s Premier League. He has supported athletes and teams en route to multiple world and Olympic honors and recently led the successful World Hour Record cycling project for INEOS Group. Williams is a PhD researcher in sport and exercise science and prior to beginning his career in sports, he served in the British Army"

Sure, but back to the point:
I do find it odd that a) Director of Performance Ben Williams' departure was not officially announced, b) No mention of any replacement, which you have to assume is needed and c) He's still listed as staff member on the official, and indeed on his own X account.

Essentially he is with us until end of season overssing the department 2 days a wewk so there is consistency, whilst working for the new employer the remaining time. He didnt want to just leave us after all the work he has put in to it. I have a lot of respect for him.
