They did look good. Every player looked comfortable on ball Ah but Gareth “knows the club”…..so important.

Liam Manning was my preferred choice when we ended up with Beale. And you just know come October/November, if we're languishing in the lower reaches of the Champ, that's who they'll approach...

He’s getting absolute pelters on Twitter. He will not last long at all. I do feel for him but he has not got a fucking clue. He’s upset that we never outran them.

I`m still not sure the players are disciplined enough, but Jimmy Dunne`s injury may have affected the younger players badly. Just a thought.

If you lose 5-0 to a league one side with your strongest team out am not sure that the biggest problem is that we didn’t run around enough. Seems like a million years ago now that we had that brilliant pre season when we outplayed Man U and Leicester and really seemed on the up.

Not shocked by the manager or the result. Utter garbage from top to bottom. Time to accept that ambition means out of the bottom three.

i'm not as pissed off at the result as others tbh, it was a dreadful performance but it might tell the club that we need some reinforcements.
on a side note though my youngest nephew was horrified after the game. he's only 8 and even though i've raised him to be a QPR fan he's only just starting to really get into football. prior to todays game he was under the impression that we are a really good team and that willock is one of the top 10 players in the world. today was a wakeup call for him lol, the look of trauma and realisation on his face on the drive home was hilarious.
my eldest nephew has been a big QPR fan since he was a toddler and came to terms with our plight a long time ago. he's very stoic and dry with his delivery and when my youngest nephew said "we are really bad..." my eldest nephew just replied "you get used to it."

Yeah, he was one of mine too. But to be fair, before I had the evidence of my own eyes to rely on, I thought GA was a good shout. However, it didn 't take me long to think (after he came to us), that in reality (as a manager) Gazza might be a bit shit.
Surely even the most optimistic/blinkered of our fans have to concede that it's not looking good for QPR. Doesn't matter how much you "get behind the lads" or how much Gareth "believes in the players", the reality is that the team, and the manager, are in fact, a bit shit.
On one level - and I really hope this doesn't offend anyone, because it's not meant to - it's kind of hilarious. It's as if Les was secretly channeling Benny Hill all along. And having masterfully orchestrated this farcical situation, he has left the building to move on to pastures new. But it's far from all Les's fault of course. Who hired Les? Who kept him in that role all those years? Who hired Anusworth* (as the Gen has said)?
The truth is, we're a circus, run by clowns!

in nigh on sixty years support, never felt like this before the season has started, we look fked Likewise, I’ve been here since ‘63 and can honestly say this is the first time I’ve started a season expecting us to fail - although ‘69 came close😂 Think how elated we’ll all be once we’ve taken Watford apart and we’re sitting ten points clear at the top come January…………😊

Concern is the form/inconsistency of last season appears to have spread into pre season.
Is it the manager, is it the actual ability of squad, is it just poorly run club spreading into playing side. Shipped 5+ goals now twice in what 13 games??

Be suicidal to sell chair or willock now as will only replace with dogs. We are so poor we can’t get rid. Got to use them to try and drag rest up

A total and utter shit show from the top down going back to the Fernandes / Phil Beard era where the nonsense and rot started for me.

That was a project as it was evolving over time. Where have we regressed to probably holloway/McLaren times? Two steps forward five back our club really is a real game of snakes and ladders

Yes we have had a few seemingly stable good periods but that more by luck. Gregory was a fly by owner but u got away with more then, since him it’s been a roller coaster. We have never had imo in my time a stable clued up owner. You reap what u sew

The support this team gets, especially in recent times and away from home is phenomenal. They all deserve so much better, imagine what it would be like if it was actually enjoyable

We have never had imo in my time a stable clued up owner. You reap what u sew There have been three or four times in our modern history where we could have kicked on as a club but we never took the opportunity - 75/76, Europe, Venables, Cup Final, original members of Prem. There wasn’t the money in the game then so we were just a small London club, punching. We’re no sleeping giant. Our incompetence has flourished since the money has taken off and that’s seen the likes of Watford and Brighton etc. steam onwards while we go backwards. If Gregory, and maybe even Thompson, had been here with the money that’s around now it could have been a different story.
