If you lose 5-0 to a league one side with your strongest team out am not sure that the biggest problem is that we didn’t run around enough. Seems like a million years ago now that we had that brilliant pre season when we outplayed Man U and Leicester and really seemed on the up. we were building something then. That was a project as it was evolving over time. Where have we regressed to probably holloway/McLaren times? Two steps forward five back our club really is a real game of snakes and ladders More like Waddock/Gregory times. Under Ollie and McLaren we were shite yeah but not really in much danger of going down. We were in that danger under Waddock and Gregory and are now arguably more in danger under Ainsworth.

Am almost wondering if we need relegation and a complete clear out so we can start again. Logically I know it would be a disaster as the financial situation would be even worse. No easy solution. Even if we got new owners they wouldn't be able to spend any money due to FFP. But I suppose they might just employ a clued-up DOF who would rebuild with better coaching, fitness and above all a less clueless head coach. I've tried to defend the owners to some extent but the Ainsworth appointment was the final straw for me.

far back as I remember we have always been a basket case club. Yes we have had a few seemingly stable good periods but that more by luck. Gregory was a fly by owner but u got away with more then, since him it’s been a roller coaster. We have never had imo in my time a stable clued up owner. You reap what u sew There have been three or four times in our modern history where we could have kicked on as a club but we never took the opportunity - 75/76, Europe, Venables, Cup Final, original members of Prem. There wasn’t the money in the game then so we were just a small London club, punching. We’re no sleeping giant. Our incompetence has flourished since the money has taken off and that’s seen the likes of Watford and Brighton etc. steam onwards while we go backwards. If Gregory, and maybe even Thompson, had been here with the money that’s around now it could have been a different story. I really thought when Briatore & the midget took over this was the start of something really special. They were no fools. They could see when we went up was the best time to sell as we were never ever gonna compete in the PL... BUT... I then look at the likes of Bournemouth, Brentford and now Luton who all seem to have their shit in order despite arguarbly all having smaller fanbases / capacity stadiums than us. Its fucking infuriating and embarrassing. Luton had 5 strikers last season.. 5! Brentford are buying players for £30m and Toney will go for £50m+ How the fuck have we mismanaged this club so so badly.

I really feel we will have to go back before we go forwards. There’s lots of examples of clubs that have done that and will be better off for it even if it means a few more years of pain. We are simply treading water where we are and becoming a laughing stock in the process.

Stains & Greg I get the argument for going down to clear the decks and sort the club out but we have such a history of turning everything into shit I could genuinely see us going down and not coming back for years a bit like Charlton.

We got no money as it is, going down won’t help with that

And less money and less players will want to come here. Was always going to be a rebuild this summer and we needed an experienced good manager to do that.

Sounds more positive hopefully not too bad More injury spin. Half the team will come on the pitch on Saturday in wheelchairs, on crutches, pushed on gurneys or on zimmer frames.

Just that in itself is a con, designed to fleece extra cash out of fans when they've already spent £170 on a QPR+ subscription.

Chill folks, we do shit we can only get better Not necessarily!! briatores assistant coach. 🤣 TBH I'm actually too scared to watch that. Problem with saying if you don’t try you don’t play is when you have paper thin squad You got no one to replace them with. Youth? What more does he have to lose? in nigh on sixty years support, never felt like this before the season has started, we look fked Exactly the same here Lymes. I`m still not sure the players are disciplined enough, but Jimmy Dunne`s injury may have affected the younger players badly. Just a thought. At what point do we stop making excuses for them? it might tell the club that we need some reinforcements. But we have no money to pay for them. Apparently?!?! Is it the manager, is it the actual ability of squad, is it just poorly run club spreading into playing side. Shipped 5+ goals now twice in what 13 games?? All of the above, but "poorly run club" mainly. Which has been the case since 2012.
