Club legends are like billy bonds, was at West Ham since the Big Bang occurred For West Ham, yes, but every club will have their own criteria for awarding 'legend' status to players. Ainsworth doesn't meet the criteria for QPR and fell significantly short of doing so...

Anyway the owners could have saved a heap of dosh or not building the new Lego training ground . Because we got better results on the old one than this thing so at moment it a white elephant

Ainsworth has three games to save his job......according to journo Darren Witcoop: So if this is correct, if we’re sat here before Rotherham game with 6 defeats in a row, 8 points from 14 games this season, and a total loss rate of 70%, we will give him 1 more game? I’m fucking speechless. So he gets a point at Rotherham and then it’s all ok??

Speaking of one season wonders, Taarabt is a cult hero for me, not a club great.

Ripped up the Championship with a significantly financially doped side (but one not as much as over the next few years admittedly). For that one season he was absolutely unplayable, no one could touch him. But never really lived up to that season after that. Disappointed more often than not in the premier league. Still, will always remember that season, he was class.

I see someone else mentioned the O’Neill chat on sky. Then saw this and made me think yes he probably has lost dressing room when you consider this level of detail to what we hear.
Can imagine Warburton and Beale developing this level of detail to attack we saw some of it under warbs but not Ainsworth there are levels to management

That clip above was’nt even his best bits, he’s been talking through various clips of Wolves since the programme started at 18.30
He’s doing another in-depth analysis at 22.00 regarding Wolves recent win against Man City.

No GA interview pre match tonight. Usually get one a day before the game.
I bet they’ve took the hint and know people don’t wanna hear his unrealistic waffle.

Just looking at LFW forum and even there only 9% are saying he should stay. I don’t remember a manager getting as low a vote on there. His position is untenable.

Light years from Ainsworth's psychobabble. Imagine if the board had appointed G O'N instead of Beale. Well, probably best if you don't, it's painful. But all that talk about the due diligence, their amazing methodology in selecting the right candidate, and then look at the reality: Beale, Critchley..... well, they sort of ticked the right boxes... and then rrrrripppppp the whole thing up and appoint the pub team manager.

It is very insightful into a Premier League manager, I really enjoyed it. People like me, thought managers like that, only drilled on how to be tight and then hit on the counter. Didn't think that they go through the phases like this. Rumours are that Lampard never did any of this which is why he struggled. I can't see Ainsworth doing this, or anything near. "right lads, when you get it here, punt it down the line"

AND 100% of anonymous voters here believe he's lost the dressing room. In conclusion - for once the fanbase seems pretty united on this one.

I do think this is a very sad episode. No legend but a proper QPR player in every sense and those thoughts now eclipsed by his time as a disastrous manager - a job he should never have been given. Seems a decent bloke, just deluded. I feel sorry for him but can’t blame him for backing himself. Terrible appointment.

How many are actually bothered by results while he is the manager as you cannot see a plan, style of plan or any chance of actually winning a game. Never really got why he was thought to be good enough from day one. Most probably the most ill fitted manager un the past 20 odd years

Amit Bhatia needs to be looked at closely on this one as he always seems to get a pass based on 10-11 season

If he resigned earlier then I would have much more respect for him. He currently continues with words like “intensity” and “transformational”..

Just endured his pre match interview for tonight and actually think he might walk after tonight or Leicester. Says that he's trying his best but with an emotion that he knows its not good enough and probably never will be. Impossible to hate him as a man if we're being honest and it's those who appointed him who we should point our anger towards.

We've become a laughing stock. Everyone and his dog are laughing at our situation. Newsnow is full of negative articles and anyone who has an opinion say how bad we are. Difficult to disagree but it's not nice to see. We all know something has to change. Praying for a result tonight but we all know what's going to happen. The wannabe rock star needs to go. End of.

When he accepted the job he spoke about how it would help secure his family future, he would be extremely foolish to throw that away and walk. From day one he said he would give 100% and could only do his best, I believe he’s done that.
I think he’s been economical with the truth around being aware how he is being perceived on social media.

Who here thinks if the board weren't looking to sell up he'd have been sacked by now?
