Come on Bill, are you fucking serious??? PS: Oh, and did you mean “they’re”?? Spelling mistake i am so sorry. Ive commited a crime fucking hang me now. Couldn't really give a monkey's about the spelling Bill, just couldn't resist the irony... My surprise (shock?) was that you seem to be saying that black managers and coaches aren't getting opportunities because they are (in your words) 'just thick'. That's pretty astonishing...

Might be astonishing to you but you obviously have'nt no experience of being around footballers in general in any way whatsoever. So can see why your astonished but your also at a huge disadvantage in that respect. Ferdinand is not exactly the brightest light on the tree is he. Coudnt resist the irony😂. Pleased you find that satifies your tiny mind but then i am not really surprised, sheep mentality but hey its quite popular and fashionable at the moment.

You did say 'they' are a bit thick in reply to a remark about black managers and coaches not getting opportunities (and not in reply to a comment particularly about Ferdinand). Anyway, a great win yesterday, so love and peace

I stated "Maybe" lets have this right your honour. Out of interest name 1 BLACK manager that has been successfull.Better watch my spelling. Name one black manager who has been successful? Frank Rijkaard won La Liga twice and the European Champions League. I'd say that was moderately successful. Ruud Gullit won the FA Cup. Chris Hughton managed a few teams in the Prem, got teams promoted out of the Championship to the Prem, qualified for European football, cup semi-finals... Other black managers have had periods of relative success and failure, just like ALL managers - for example, Patrick Vierra, Darren Moore, Vincent Kompany. But your question actually backs up the point - there don't seem to be many 'successful' black managers. But it's not because 'maybe they're just thick', but because they're simply not given the opportunities in coaching/managerial positions - currently only 4.4% of managers in the top four divisions are black according to Statistica. So, I don't have a problem anyone's ability to spell Bill, it's not a character flaw. I'm simply interested in the way the conversation in this thread went. That is, when discussing Ferdinand's comment in the Mirror article about black ex-players not getting opportunities when "trying to break into management-related positions in football": Stainrodislegend: [Ferdinand's] general point about how fewer black players are given a chance is hard to argue with statistically.
Bill: Maybe they're just thick. Not judging Bill, just curious to know why you wrote that?

There was a period where there were undertones on the message boards because fans thought the club was recruiting to suit an agenda rather than bring the best we could afford into the club but, if in that period, Tim Sherwood had shown up - one of Les’ and Ramsey’s mates - there would have been uproar about him too. Whatever the reasons behind it, we did buy a considerable amount of Black players compared to White players over the last few years of Les' reign as DoF and there were rumours from very good sources that this was his plan and one of the reasons why he fell out with Warburton. Hmmmmmmm.... almost as if I'm consistent.... alanwycombe what's the difference between you aluding to a perceived 'Black policy' by Les and me? Oh yeah, I'm not part of the clique... 👍

My views are balanced and open to criticism unlike you who thinks we all need telling how right you are. I respect the people who debate points on here whether they agree with me or not. You are sad if you have nothing more in life than to pick over a message board and live in the past. I’m part of that past and have moved on. Clearly that’s beyond you.

Give it a rest, Oldr. Read the room. I have 'given it a rest' as I have said all I want to however its nothing to do with 'reading the room'... I don't know how many times I have to reiterate this but I don't care if every person on here disagrees with an opinion I have, I'm not going to change my view or pretend to be something I'm not to fit in and would judge any person who did harshly.

You don't have to reiterate it, that's the point. Just accept that people don't agree with you. That's it.

I think you've missed my point mate, your posts are constant and come across as a relentless need to be agreed with. That's all, no malice intended from me, I couldn't care less tbh 🤣 just want peace and love on here.

I'm not insecure that I can't be called a cunt if someone thinks I am about something. What a boring World it would be if we all thought the same and what a boring World it would be if those with alternative viewpoints and opinions were cowered out of expressing them. Peace and love to everyone even if they hate my opinions 👍
