When did we last have new manager bounce. Loving Marti think he might be the one who makes me get over Warburton 😁 TFFT

guy has been brilliant so far, totally changed everything in such a short span of time. there's being a firefighter but marti is a bloody waterfall.
prior to marti when was the last time that we deservedly won all 3pts? maybe against preston in critchley's first game?
such a quick turn around. i'm loving it so far!

Thank you Marti for giving us a well coached football team again. Welcome back 73 and I don't blame you for taking a break up to now! Thanks Stan. So refreshing to watch a team well drilled and playing with confidence. The 2nd goal today highlighted as much with how we pressed the ball and got our rewards. Nothing against Ainsworth but he was a dreadful manager who was so out of his depth it was untrue. Could not have watched another minute of the shite he was churning out.

marti says “not a big secret” how to get the most out of Willock. He's a modest man though, so can see why he downplays and phrases it that way.

Very happy overall but I think MC needs to look at his subs and use of the squad the last two games.
I get he has to rotate, freshen things up and change things but, I think mistakes were made.

They say you learn more in defeat then victory so those last two games (albeit one was draw) will have surely set off few alarm bells about actual strength of squad to rotate, general fitness and if some of the players are mentally strong enough to make decisions when they have tired minds towards end of a game.
Also why do we see same players repeating the same mistakes game in game out.

Aldo why do we see sane players repeating the same mistakes game in game out. This. At least he’s willing to try/learn so will be judged on what he does as a result. For example, I don’t think we’ll see EDB slotting in at RB again unless it’s an emergency. Wasted.

he’s willing to try/learn Key part of his post-match interview when he said I need to examine and rectify my own errors too.

He's not the Messiah and all that...
He's inherited a poor squad - last season our goal of the year was scored by a GK and our YPOTY was won by a forward who doesn't score - so we do need to cut him some slack but it is important that he considers what he may have got wrong and the fact that he is is a good sign.

Yep he’s a good manager but need to temper expectations - it’s still the same squad that have continually failed (and miserably at that).

Marti has only been in job a short period. For me he like a breath of fresh air.
Yes last couple of games he made mistakes but given what he has to work with hardly surprising.
He is not scared to make subs and rotate the team and i guess that is part of his learning process about the players, their strengths and weakness's.
Given this and the short period of time left to rescue us from relegation i think we have improved a great deal and from being relegation fodder under Ainsworth we should with the whole club pulling together including the board come January we should be lower to mid table minimum.
There is a long way to go,suggest we enjoy the journey, however we all know most games will have squeaky bum time.

Fitness is also a problem as West Acton said.
Having said that we do have a few sicknotes, mental health problems and fickle players in the squad.

At 0-1 I never thought we’d come away with 3pts. But the loss was unexpected and hard to take.

He was clearly fucked off with the players in his post match interviews. I love to see that.

He was clearly fucked off with the players in his post match interviews. And justifiably so It's about time a manager stood up to some of the pussies in the squad and stopped indulging and molly-coddling them Fuck player-power. Yes that can fuck right off. There are times when footballers need to take a bit of personal and collective responsibility for their own actions when they cross that white line, and be real men about it. It's not like they are not paid handsomely enough to warrant the odd rollocking from their boss, is it?
