If he goes we should sound out Liam Rosenoir or Steve Cooper. That Will Still looks like our type of Manager in my opinion. Doesn't look like he's gonna accept Sunderland. I agree. He is an exciting young manager.

Lose him and I reckon we’ll lose players too. They bought into his way so some will be as pissed off as us if he goes.

Maybe Al.
I think there will be a lot of movement of Managers in the top 2 divisions this summer though. We'll likely have some decent options if he is indeed on his way.

Not 100% sure it's accurate just yet mate. Few tongues are definitely wagging though.

This has been started by some spotty wankers on Twitter (don’t laugh) making up utter bollocks just so they can get a hard on in their mums spare room. See how it snowballs….

I didn't read anything significant into Marti's post-season comments, personally, other than mild annoyance over the question.

Losing Marti will be a big loss to the club but am confident what with the process Christian Nourry alluded to previously, that he will be replaced by someone similar in playing style, ethos etc

Would have faith in Nourry in that regard to keep the continuity going.

Personally I hope that he sees us as a project he wants to finish before he climbs the next step up the ladder (with us hopefully)

Hope we at least put up a fight to keep him if someone comes in. Not even sure how long his contract is to be honest mate. And if the likes of Burnley are in for him, there is not a chance we can compete with the contract they'll put in front of him. If he wants to go, the best we can hope for is a decent pay off for letting him go. Strangely, I'm not that gutted. Great Manager but my guy instinct was he'd likely be off this window even before last season ended.

Just asked because with players you usually know length of contract, but it seems not with managers, which I agree is probably a good thing.

Think his contract is two and a half years
Dont think he will leave personally
He is being hyped all over the place though
I would offer him a new contract if we can
He has done a superb job so far
If he goes I would like Cooper
Hope he does stay though he’s messiah atm

Really hope he does stay as he’s done a superb job so far.
Genuinely cannot think of a single reason why Burnley would be an attraction for him. Very small Lancashire town, same division with a fairly suspect ownership model.
But if he did go, obviously I’d regard him as just as big a cunt as Beale and Redknapp!😂

They'll also probably pay him 3 or 4 times as much as we will.
