Is it me or does Marty seem a little flat and grumpy since the season started? Seems pissed off in his interviews...... He's got a right to be pissed off when we have 30 shots at home against a team that'll be down the bottom come the end of the season. It was a good starting XI. He can't put the ball in the net himself. I'd be fucked off too looking at some of the finishing from our players. The good thing is it'll galvanise him and the team to push on.

Reasons he was miserable (guesses)
The result The way we performed second half of second half Players not sticking to his plan / instructions Being told he could not pick Dykes - he has always said publicly Dykes is important to him not for goals but for what he brings to the team (his words not mine) - Could be the a first falling out between Nourry and Marti but if Dykes goes we have less than a week to get in a decent goalscorer.
Re Dykes if the rumoured 3 clubs are interested a bidding war would be helpful.

How will selling any player improve the team? We will only be better if we sell and sign a replacement who is better than who we sell and that goes for any position.

Most agree we'd be better off with 10 men and a lamppost at the penalty spot. 🤣

Yet again he came up trumps for us last night, Best man for the job and would not swap him for anyone in this division.

His profile is definitely rising and he's starting to be talked about a lot.
Could be our last season with him I reckon if we have a gooden, sadly.

Yeah starting to wonder about him now. We've been consistently shit all season, including the only game we've won. Not impressed.

We've been shouting at Marti to play Dembele centre, and when he does he doesn't turn up. Team is too lightweight. No muscle. And central midfield shit. Field is consistent, and offers some form of shield, but he doesn't boss the midfield. And we need someone who does. Summer signings, bar keeper, looking shit.

He needs to change his thinking, because what he's doing isn't working. Last season he showed that he has tactical nous and strong motivational abilities. That can't have evaporated. Maybe he's overthinking it. He needs a plan B: keep it simple, play to our strengths, stop fannying around at the back, play a high press.

Which he's had a big say in assembling. Not a good start to the season. Hopefully things improve as hopefully the new signings adapt... Chair, Willock and Hayden have definitely NOT been replaced and that's the main problem IMO.

I love the bone marrow of this football club . What it is. What it stands for, and what it means to so many and the thousands of others who will support this club long after i've been incinerated in an MDF coffin as Marvin Gaye sings me out into the great divide.
But fuck me up the dirtbox i'm getting so bored arsing about at the fag end of the championship. Exisiting. Breathing. Consuming. Defecating.
This seemingly endless existence in Beige.
i'm 57 in november.. I loved the Gerry years in the early to mid 90's. I'm not a spoilt brat in a bunny eared romper suit for wanting them again before i turn up me toes am i?
Circa 1993 now seems like 'one million years BC,' with Raquel welch in her saber tooth tiger bikini.
It's just one game today i know.. but still.. days like this as a QPR fan melt into each other like Neeskens , cruyff and total football .
It grinds you down into nothingness.

no questions from me as to whether marti is the right man for the job. he's a superb manager but he needs to adapt how we play.
okay, he wanted to set us up to play a possession based style of football and it hasn't worked so now he needs to tinker with it again and find a system that does work. i have full faith in him doing just that as he did it last season with a weaker squad.

I would like that to be true but he is stubborn and doesn’t stay in jobs long. I think his plan b is to try harder at plan a. just not convinced that is going to work.

Last season we won 2-1 there and from Feb on could compete with anyone - this season? Lucky to escape with a 2-0 defeat and outplayed by Millwall at home. Relatively early days but we have had about a fifth of the season already

Martí achieved the impossible last season and kept us up.
He deserves this whole season, no matter what.
He will come good for us again.
