Have to say my optimism is draining away. If our first team could all stay fit and on form, we might do enough to survive. But there’s no depth. Seems like some positivity in the transfer could be our last realistic chance of staying up. I’m pinning my hopes on a few players Marti might have in mind, but not convinced that’ll happen  |

Unlikely to have money for anything more than a loan and which prem club is going to loan their promising young striker to a club facing relegation and providing no service? Ainsworth wasted our budget on Colback, Fox and Smyth.

Largely agree Stains - just hoping Marti knows some unheard of Scaninavian gem who'll come in for peanuts, score 20 goals to keep us up and is then sold on for £15m in the summer.

They need pull their finger out they have 14days to get two of three decent players in that will give us a chance.
Don’t give a toss about next week in the cup, we need bodies in and available by Millwall which is a bloody six pointer now. We saw how shit they were few games back so with bit of ambition and injuries back it’s more then winnable.
I want to see the lights on at the stadium and training ground late into the night the next fortnight as they get business done. No excuses.

Needed to pull their finger out in the summer if truth be know.Kept Ainsworth and brought in a load of rubbish,to compliment the rubbish we already had. Some said there was plenty of time but true to form no business early and eventually dross brought in. We were always going to struggle but signs are this window will be like deja vu. |

They might not have the money within FFP rules (none of us know for sure before we re-open that debate). Maybe no prem club will loan us a player because we are bottom of the league and it’s increasingly toxic. If we can’t get anyone who is so good as to transform our season there is at least an argument to accept the inevitable and use any money for a re-build next season. I totally share your frustration Westy but not sure it’s as simple as pulling a finger out - it might already be too late due to decisions taken over the last decade. I’m increasingly resigned to relegation |

Couple of trialists playing in development team this afternoon. One of them rumoured to be 22yr old Mathew Sorinola a Wing Back who can play either side and was released by Union SG, looked a real prospect at MK Dons a couple of years ago. |
