Pep Guardiola couldn't keep this lot in the Championship. Give him the money he would He wouldn't be allowed to spend it. Telling you, this team is not staying up, regardless of the manager.

Don't worry everyone; it's only November! Well be down in 4 months time if we don't turn things around.

If Marty wants to keep th is team up, and keep his job, long term, he has to drop Dykes. No goals in this team. We all knew that back in the summer. The entire fan base. Criminal negligence to have Dykes the only option. Still feel Sinclair has potential has pace and strength,Marti needs to get hold of him and players to play it earlier for him.

Some stats in the week showed that we are scoring about the right number of goals for the number of chances created. Fuck all, in other words.
You could have the best striker in the world but if there are no chances created it would take a much, much better striker than we will be able to acquire to keep us up

Willoch seems to have a long way to go, so Question is: Will he ever find back to his old self? I think he was the biggest positive today. Lot of nice one touch play and linked up well with others on the right side. Maybe needs Chair beside him.

Criminal negligence to have Dykes the only option. I reckon if Dykes hadn't been away with Scotland and MC had been with him these last two weeks - and based on what he's seen of him the two games prior - I don't think he'd have played him today. Moving forward I can see him giving him possibly one more game, but fairly sure he'll drop him beyond that.

People do get why we didn’t sign a striker in Jan, right?

Stupid club deserve all they get for going into a season with that wanker & the other useless fuckers up front That's what happens when you have a clueless board, no DoF, and appoint someone like Ainsworth.

Agreed but that has gone. An interesting January beckons. Will it bring a winner or another DONKEY like Dykes. I quite like donkeys

Beale hit the ground running when he came in, he quickly realised Dykes was a Donkey, he saw Johansen as a passenger, he saw Kakay as very limited defensively and offensively. He brought in players to replace them in Tim Laird and Roberts.
How the hell does he keep picking the 3 crabs in MF and then wonder why we don’t create nothing.
As soon as Bonner went off we looked bereft of ideas.
Chair stuck out wide left and Willock wide right looks so rigid in structure for me.

Or that with a striker even moderately better, as a focal point to just hold it up let alone score, it could improve our whole team dynamic?

At least turns and gets us playing the right way but absolutely zero movement in front of him. Marti isn’t a magician but we’ve got a better chance with him than with the musician. We simply have to add to the squad in January

If Donkey doesn’t score there is very little contribution ever likely to lead to someone else scoring.

Been saying for some time, when Chair and Willock dovetail off each other, that was when we saw the very best of both players. As mentioned in the other thread, WillocK scored 6 and Chair 3 in the opening three months of last season, when doing so.
