Against my better judgement, I’ve gone for a win...

Because of the way the division is panning out this year, and because of the horrendous GA spell (which was allowed to continue for a while after the board had lost confidence in him) these are the games we have to seize by the throat and win. No one just above us is loosing consistently. Anyone can get points off anyone. In a scenario like that, if you'er detached at Christmas you really are looking down the barrel. You say these types of games, but what does that mean? Hull are 6th. They are doing well and playing well so we have no devine right to beat them, or expect to. We are at home, so we should look to win all games of course, but this isn't one of those that we can expect to. If they were 16th or somehting then yeah, fair enough.

I remember watching QPR at this time, but totally forgot (or didn't know) about a lot of it. I was about 13/14 at the time

Didnt see Colback, Aoraha or Kolli in the training photos released earlier today, Marti said in a interview last week that one of the changes made at the training ground being Thursday is now classed as a day off for the players. Think I saw Armstrong in one photo with him being on the far right in photo number 8. www.qpr.co.uk/news/2023/december/07/gallery--preparations-for-hull-city/

Would like to see Kolli though, kind of player I could see Marti really bringing on.

The form book in this division is far from robust, meaning that we are as likely to beat the team in 6th as we are the team in 16th = at home you have to go for it = these are the games we have to seize etc etc

The point I was trying to make is that we should expect to win. Ie its not a given that we'll win. But we should try to. But if we lose, its not all doom and gloom.

Today has banana skin written all over it.
Fans confident and recent results suggest we have turned a corner and are facing a team we would normally be expecting to beat at home but the home record is still flakey.
I’ve gone win but would not be surprised if we lost.
Two home games in space of five days, if we came away with 4points think that would be decent with Sheff Wed to come.

Not sure I’d call it a rotation policy, more good game management and sensible substitutions. Look what it did for Chair last game.

Only change I would make is Smyth out wide for muscles aside from that decent enough side.
Hopefully see impact from Bonner second half.
Fancy Dozzell to score today.

Against Hull you need to go out and go at them. If you let them run the play we will loose. Watch for set pieces.

Just watching donkey in the warm up. He is fucking dreadful. Only had one goal out of 8 or 9 attempts.

Their 22yr old left sided CB Jacob Greaves is getting lots of attention from Premiership clubs.
