3k to Crystal Palace in 1994 - a far harder ground to get to than The Den 3k to Arsenal in 1995 2k ish to Norwich in 1999 I cant pretend that this has nothing to do with having to walk through Bermondsey... Hmmmmmmm seems we’re still quite a few Boxing days away. This is funny 🤣

You seriously think If we played this Saturday at Millwall with no trains only 1500 would still go due to having walk from Bermondsey and it was nothing to do with trains or it being Boxing Day? See, aren’t you glad I’ve grown old gracefully?

Due to the state of some peoples finances,i would think putting food on the table, heating and other essentials come well before QPR away at Millwall.

Yea I keep a record of all games attendances over 100 miles radiuses over a 30 year period And yea who cares! Bottom line is your claim about fans being scared to walk from a poxy tube station is total waffle.

OK, so what we have here is me using stats from other season's away Boxkng Day games to highlight that there was an anomaly on Tuesday and you saying I'm talking bollocks based on feeling? There's always a lack of trains on Boxing Day which hasn't prevented us taking numbers away and we normally take good numbers to The Den when 'Cowards Way' from South Bermondsey is open so what was the issue on Tuesday? 1,500 is roughly what we took over there for the Friendly Lee Charles scored in....

So anyone going to watch the game instead of looking for trouble is a coward? Probably time you let this go and concentrate on the current situation. More than enough to talk about and debate that is interesting and entertaining.

I've been saying that anyone not going because they are frightened of walking through Bermondsey is. There is a HUGE difference.

They’re qpr fans. If they don’t feel comfortable, then that’s fine by me. We should respect and look after our own, not take mock them.

In fact you come across as a stereotypical miserable old bloke living in the past who gives us old gits a bad name. Seriously, what pleasure do you get out of rubbishing our following?

None, I wish I wasn't embarrassed but it was a pathetic turnout regardless and as I said in the opening post to this thread, speaks volumes about a large section of our fanbase nowadays. Like my opinion or not, I've been consistent.

i'm not afraid of spiders or snakes in the slightest. therefore anyone who is is a coward of the highest order. some people don't feel comfortable with some games and thats fine, before i went to my first millwall away game i was a bit nervous. even now my family call me mental whenever i go to millwall such is their reputation. i also wouldn't risk going to luton away as i don't want the agro. but again, 1500 for a boxing day game without trains running at 1pm is great. most people are spending time drinking with extented family on xmas, can you imagine how retarded you'd look if you turned round and said "oh guys, i've got to turn in early as i'm driving at 11am to bermondsey for a football game, sorry ." people on forums tend to be among the most diehard of a clubs fanbase, we think of our club multiple times a day etc and if we can't get to a game we're frantically looking for streams or using a VPN to watch the game. other casual fans will watch a game if its on TV or just check im on the results every now and then and thats it. i'd wager that a lot of people on this forum who normally attend games didn't do so just because of the timing and inconvenience of it, it doesn't make them any less of a fan no way and thats a stupid position to hold especially given that you didn't even go to the game yourself. a rule unto thee not unto me kind of deal.

Wasn’t even there. That’s the funny bit 😭🤦🏻♂️ It's getting a bit boring now but I never said that everyone who didn't go didn't have a valid excuse. My opinion has been, from the start, about people who bottled it because they didn't fancy the walk from Bermondsey station. You don't think people did use this as an excuse, Acton thinks its a valid one and I think it's an embarrassing one. Do you know what? None of us are politicians canvassing support so it's not about being right or wrong but expressing opinions. You think I'm wrong, I think you 2 are but no one has died in the making of this thread so all is good 👍

You think I'm wrong, I think you 2 are but no one has died in the making of this thread so all is good 👍 but you didn't go to the game and don't really go to games so whats your excuse? i hate this 'heirarchy' of fans that some people develop as if its a way to pull rank. i go to every home game (unless otherwise) and a fair few away games every season but there are people on this forum who can't go to games. some on here have never gone to a game but does that make their support of the club any less? absolutely not and they know in their heart what they feel for the club which is all that matters. we all love this club but if someone doesn't feel comfortable going to a game then what gives you the right to judge them? its nothing more than a superiority complex and ironically it all comes from the comfort of your home as you don't attend many games yourself. end of the day attend the games you want to go too, if someone is too nervous to go to a game then fair enough thats their right. it doesn't make them any less of a fan of our club. like i said, i wouldn't attend luton away as that game is too dicey for me but does that diminish my support of our club? no.
