Centre half was booked quite early but not once did i see a ball over the top to test his lack of pace against Sinclair.

All very well playing from the back but should mix it especially when centre half on a yellow.

Going to get sent off or a possible pen.

I picked one up for my mates son, only to find out he had managed to get one for himself and his son. So I kept it. I don't tend to wear football scarves but it seemed reasonable quality and a good gesture. Saw plenty of people wearing them on the way home.

We tried it once when the fella fouled him over by the corner flag and ref clearly told him last foul and ironically we never went his direction again

Just an observation on how I feel about the Huddersfield result.

As the game progressed/dragged on, I was pretty glum, downbeat about the prospect of a mere 0-0 draw in a 6-pointer.

Going 0-1 down with just a few minutes to go had me thinking, that’s it, we’re down, useless b******s.

Then an equaliser in the 95th minute made it feel almost like a win.

That, with the arrival of Frey, has me feeling almost positive about things - well, until Blackburn anyway…

There's just no consistency from one game to the next. Said this before but at root do think it's partly a lack of self-belief / confidence issue, the way you see them play. The other part is some players appear to be simply not be up for the fight.

Marti has already dropped Richards from the squad for this reason, and perhaps the time has come to do the same with others too - regardless of how talented they are.

We can't be in danger of pinning all hope on this new striker but it's heading that way. Is he the missing piece of the jigsaw? If we can't sort the MF and supply line out, then definitely not.

Nope. One challenge the ref bottled but apart from that not a squeak. We didn’t challenge or run at him once.

I think it’s a mix of confidence, lack of intelligence but for me it’s quite simple. They’re just not that good.

Overated Prima dona's whose stats lead you to believe they are better than they are. Armstrong looked a player first 25 to 30 minutes then we went back to slow turgid rubbish and midfield should be ripped up end of the season and replaced with pace and energy.

And that kind of thing has to come from the more experienced players telling Sincs there and then. Likes of Colback, Cook and Field should be in his ear.
