I might be in minority but I never thought Smyth done anything of note when he came on. There was a great ball in from chair which he should have finished back post but he stood watching. Hasn't done anything notable last two games, but neither has Willock. Can we try someone else there?

We'd have lost 1-2 if he hadn't have come on. I get why you say that but no one knows that for certain. Could say we would have lost two nil if Willock was not on as he crossed for first goal 🤷🏽♂️

Nice to see a centre forward attack the near post. Good point against a historically bogey team and all 4 signings started well with more to come.

Had a moment where he had a header go wide before his goal, but the movement to get in front of his man and win the header was class and exactly what we’ve been missing with Dykes.

happy with the point but dissapointed as i wanted more lol. pretty good game overall aside from the 2 soft goals.
even though frey is a way from match fit he has a strikers instinct which is wonderful to see. a shame that we didn't get any set pieces with frey on the field.

He will get us 7 or 8 goals from now as knows how to play as a centre forward. Good movement and I get the feeling he wants to score goals and believe's he will.

Not our best performance, but as evidenced today, it takes a really good team to beat us now, unlike pre-MC were we'd just roll over and pull our pants down, whenever opponents went at us with any form of intent. No wonder we got fucked almost every week. 🤷♂️ I said this to my brother who was disappointed with the draw, ok it isn't a win and we're still in the bottom 3, but we are so close to dragging ourselves out of it and 3 or 4 months ago Norwich would've turned us over without getting out of first gear. This is a good point and a decent result imo.

A good point ... Annoying being mugged off by that short corner
Norwich on there second half performance deserved a point imo...
The assist and goal came from our subs...
Smyth harrying their player to cough the ball.... Andersen with a quality cross and a goalscorers finish by Frey...
That is an impressive bench while double agent Dozzell does the business at Brum for us ..
Still in the bottom three, don't matter until the final whistle of the final match in May...
Keeps us honest and focused for our next must win match (mustn't lose)
Onward

Chair should take note of Anderson putting ball in early and beating first man with it.

I thought Willock worked hard today.
Didn’t have a great deal of success but definitely put a shift in.
Begovic appeared to be moving the ball out quicker too for once.
Can’t knock anyone today. Maybe Dykes who was shit when he came on but don’t wanna be too harsh 😄

Chair should take note of Anderson putting ball in early and beating first man with it. Such a frustrating player. Does some really fantastic things with the ball, gets into good positions, but almost every time makes the wrong choice with his final ball. Either takes a shot looking for a worldy or doesn’t see a runner coming to the side of him or just cuts back and loses it. He would be so much more effective if he released the ball after doing all the hard work like he did a few games back for Colbacks shot which muscles followed up on and scored.

Thank you Rangers - you didn’t fuck up my birthday. Even my family who don’t come that often said we were much improved and good atmosphere in the ground. New players all excellent. Nice to see Willock put in a shift. Like look of Anderson. Thought Frey a big upgrade on Dykes - that glancing header to send the ball down the wing for Chair to run on to, no way Dykes does that. He looks arrogant when he scored, like he expected to - not a bad quality in a striker. JSC - different level Cannon - much better Colback - if he could cut out the silly fouls would be some player at this level, was excellent at times and night and day from Dozzell. Hayden v solid and tidy. Decent performance. Predicted a draw and happy with a draw. 8 points out of 12 and 4 games unbeaten. Massive improvement. Right leaving the pub and out to dinner to celebrate - you Rsss Happy birthday Stains. mine is on the 24th. i expect nothing but a thrashing against rothertwats. Happy birthday to a rangers and February brother. enjoy you're night, mate.

I think it is why he is still with us and why teams only want to pay 4 or 5 million. Thought he was poor today and offers nothing to the when out of position. Would bench him on Wednesday to get a reaction like we got at Preston.

Agreed, Chair Smyth Armstrong and many others are scrutinised every single time they make a mistake yet certain other players that have received praise and make similar mistakes are untouchable, for instance nothing was said when Colback got easily shoved off the ball and Salter was caught out of position and asleep for Blackburns goal last week.

JCS is an exceptional defender. if his injury woes are behind him then i fully agree with westy that he's one of the best CBs in the championship. could easily be a prem player imo. love him.

Loft for Words folk bang on about refs too much imho but last two games the refs have ruined the last half hour as spectacles with constant whistle blowing. Plus some utterly bizarre small decisions went against us today - eg near the death Smyth clearly wins a corner but is given as a goal kick. Have we become a bit too nice as a fan base? We should have been on refs back more second half imho and put him under some pressure

Good finish by Colback for the first goal. Hate Norwich's first goal, that's poor. Abysmal marking for Sargent's goal. Belter of a cross by Andersen and an even better finish by Frey. Top save by Asmir at the end.
