For some reason the appointment of Nourry as CEO (jeez the critique about his age and Marti being a championship novice) and his appraisal of the Andersen signing feels like the club has some version of Moneyball going on..

Would be astonished if we get a fee for LA, but at least we didn’t spend anything to get him in. On the other hand, he might be brilliant for a year, and we offload him for millions next January to Notts Forest. It's just not very likely with a player his age. |

With both Frey and Anderson at similar ages in their careers it appears that both deals should be of similar value in salary terms but easy to think that’s maybe it’s not correct in Andersen’s case.

Not dual ownership, but he was fined and suspended in 2022 by the FA for representing both club and player without clearly stating so in Matt Ryans 2017 transfer from Valencia to Brighton. |

Class player. Sometimes can look a bit languid - shades of Mike Fillery - but those stats speak for themselves. With a better finisher up top we would be laughing.

I used to like Fillery. The trouble was other players didn't see some of the passes he made in the same way he did. He was probably wasted with us at the time.

really like lucas, looks a bit like martin sheen in underworld though lol. hardworking, creative and a proper team player with great vision tbh. he's not looked out of place at this level and will be a crucial player for us should we stay up
