They should run it like rugby. Clock stops when the ball goes dead or the ref blows his whistle. Kills time wasting immediately.
The only question if that was to happen is, is 45 mins a half still viable? I believe the data suggests that only something like 30 mins of each half is actual playing time.

On Saturday there were 7 added minutes at the end of the first half and 9 at the end of the second..... Seemingly the same elsewhere. New rules introduced by the scum running the game.

In a game(games) where there was no apparent time wasting. I’d have seen extra 15plus mins in some games gone by (Preston etc.) but now inconsistent referees have even more power we need to see what and why they are adding so much.

I would be in favour of a visible clock that you can see being stopped for timewasting and legit stoppages. You would know how long is left all the time then.

Only problem is if you see clock stopped and play until 90mins we’re going be getting way more then 6/7 mins half added will be endless games like NFL. It won’t last the group stages in WC last year was like this then went back to normal. TV stations wont let it carry on as will ruin there schedule and analysis.

Is giving 3pts every game to opponents a new rule this season?

Just need three or four refs do this across the leagues and would stop keeper timewasting overnight

Utter bollocks IMO.
Just need referees to do their jobs properly. No need for even more meddling.

i like the idea of a sin bin type of thing but making a whole new card just seems silly. refs are moron's as it is and i don't trust them being armed with 3 cards as it will confuse them.
just change the rules around yellows, one yellow card = 6 minutes on the sidelines or something. it'd certainly be handy when it comes to cynical fouls or timewasting so would improve the flow of the game.

I'm alright with this I think?
One part of me thinks stop fucking with the game and the other part thinks one, it brings a bit of excitement knowing teams will be going for it for 10 mins and two it might clamp down on things like time wasting and persistent fouling.

I think in right Circumstances it could work so give it a go.
For me ideal for dissent, ref really reluctant to actually show a red for it although they should so fuck off to the bench for ten mins it will stop that overnight.
Time wasting too all we see is them show a yellow when it’s too late (as they know it’s too late and won’t have an impact) but as soon as team starts time wasting one of you can go off. Will speed game up.

We have blue cards in our 5-a-side league.
Personally don't like them, as teams are still at the mercy of inconsistent, often ignorant referees.
Just another disruption/interruption to the smooth flow of a game.

Saw a clip earlier on Merson talking about this and (for once lol) he is absolutely bang on. Saying it'll be dreadful & basically the team with 10 men temporarily will absolutely spoil the game. All 10 men behind ball, faking injuries, timewasting etc until their player is back on. I think it'll be awful myself.
I hate how the powers that be seem intent on destroying the game with constant changing of laws.

One yellow card for time wasting adds five minutes to extra time. Two ten. And so on. No more time wasting. Dumb fucks could never think of that

I actually agree with this. Clear daylight between players = offside. None = onside.
Plain and clear and stops all this lines bollox and goals being ruled out for someone's nose being too long.
