THE International Football Association Board (IFAB) recently announced a number of rule changes that came into play from June 1st 2019. The changes have been rolled out across the whole of football, meaning that QPR will have a few new laws to adhere to in the Sky Bet Championship in 2019/20. I can see that booking/ quick free kick one causing arguments. The multicoloured undershirt one is confusing, it has to be the same as the shirt sleeve. Does that mean each team has to have multicoloured shirt sleeves to accommodate this?

Just a question.
New rules introduced and then forgotten.
I thought kicking the ball away should be a yellow card but now it seems to be acceptable.
Anyone got other examples?

Players surrounding the ref. Wasn't that meant to have been stopped? You see it all of the time.

Waving imaginary cards - yes you Wolves, in particular. The least sporting team I have seen for a long time. Must be rife in Portugal.

A stupid move, imo. Worst case scenario is that many players will get Covid-19 this season.

A stupid move, imo. Worst case scenario is that many players will get Covid-19 this season. yes but they won’t be on the pitch to be subbed. Too many subs plays into the hands of the Man Cities who can afford a squad full of top players. Let’s see more talent coming through instead. COVID problems may find the next great young player.

Good for the boring ties. We wouldn't fancy going to Rotherham for a reply.
But bad for the little teams that need the away draw for the gate receipts away to big teams.

It could be that we see more Premiership players drop down the leagues on permanent transfers ?

Now the five sub rule has been embedded what You guys thinking. Do you like it or prefer the three still?

Now the five sub rule has been embedded what You guys thinking. Do you like it or prefer the three still? It's best suited to a tactically astute manager as they know how to take full advantage of it, and fortunately for us we now have one.

Good for the reasons above but inevitably will always be more of an advantage for bigger clubs with better squads.
Instead of 3 very good players on the bench they have 5
We clearly don’t have that luxury.

Don't have a problem with five subs.
Bigger/better/richer teams will always have higher calibre players available on the bench.
I do think the temporary concussion substitution needs to be written into football law though.
The Villa keeper keeper should have been immediately subbed for medical assessment off after his head collided with Tyrone Mings' knee recently.
Absolutely no excuse for keeping him on whatsoever - potentially extremely dangerous.
